Miko and Mitch where still at the stage, fixing up the shelves, currently an hour had just passed, and they were still doing everything by themselves, this time Phil was looking around, wondering where everyone else had left
"Dangit BITT, where is all the other techs?" Phil growled "We can't just have Miko and Mitch doing all the work like this!"
"I believe they all went to get smoothies like you had asked." BITT said
"No, I asked Zahra and Haneesh to go get smoothies for afterwards." Phil said "Everyone else is supposed to be helping set things up!"
"I am sorry sir, according to my tracker, they have all went in one singular van to the groovy smoothie." BITT notified
"Unbelievable..." Phil facepalmed "This is why we don't do these kinds of things..."
While they had been fixing things up Miko, was unfortunately still saying silent, but Mitch was trying all kinds of things to get her to talk
"Hey, look at this." Mitch pulled out two plushies from a chomp kitty box "All the Chomp Kitties from that game have names."
The girl walked over to him
"Look," he showed her the two plushies, which looked to be the same Chomp Kitty skins they had played last night, "This one's name is Purple Pouncer, and this one's name is Blasting Blue."
"Hm..." Miko said
Mitch sighed
"Miko, I've tried everything and your still being quiet," Mitch began "I mean what is with you? You've been avoiding me all day, and now Five's after me, and now that where both actually alone, you've gone quietly, EVER SINCE THAT STUPID KISS YOU'VE GHOSTED ME!"
She didn't respond, and only turned her head away
Now she wanted to talk, she really did, but she was scared to say the wrong thing...
"You can't do that kind of stuff to people Miko!" Mitch said "It's not right!"
The blonde bit his lip, he felt like crying, his eyes even started to water a bit,
Why? Why? Why was she doing this? WHY DID SHE DO THIS? WHY WOULD SHE JUST KISS HIM, IF SHE WAS JUST GOING TO AVOID HIM FOR THE REST OF THE DAY
"MITCH!" Phil shouted from inside the arcade "Come here I need to have a word with you, Miko you just keep setting stuff up."
Mitch's eyes shut abruptly in annoyance
"Coming boss..." Mitch shouted
"This isn't over," he notified her "and when I get back, you better explain to me what your problem is, because whatever this is, it's not cute, and not funny."
The girl watched as he went to the office
"Well guess this is it." Miko said shakily "I guess I'm gonna have to face rejection officially."
