Reasons for Becoming a Hero and Stain

A week since the Dragon Incident in Tokyo.
Izumi was covering the class for Aizawa, announcing the first sets of work studies for their second year, when one of the students, Hitoshi Shinso, a student very alike Mr Aizawa asked a very valid question.
"Midoriya sensei, what are your reasons for becoming a hero and teacher,"
The whole class turned to look at him, then back to Izumi.
"Oh, One-eyed King, give me strength," Izumi said somewhat audibly,
"So, any particular reasons," Bakugou said, taunting her
"Don't make me regret saving you that day, Asshole," Izumi said, venom in her voice.
The class immediately went silent, scared at what she would do.
"To answer your question, Shinso, I have so many reasons to be a hero." Izumi said, her temper reducing to normal, "As many of you probably noticed, during my time as a vigilante, I often went after men, and more specifically, perverts and rapists. This is because I was nearly raped when I was 13, just starting out as a vigilante. I became a hero so others wouldn't have to share the same experiences as me. The trauma of losing your family or being raped will never disappear. I remember about three years ago, I rescued two students here, Kyoka Jiro and Mina Ashido, with just my strength alone. My other reason was to prove a point that a man-eating monster could be a hero who protects people, a ghoul, a being to change the word of heroes as we know it,"
Shinso and about half the class were shaken.
"Well, let's get on with the work studies, I hope you have fun. Especially you, Iida," Izumi said, her tone changing on a whim.

During work studies, Izumi kept her eyes on Iida, one of her favourite yet least favourite students, because she could tell he went to Hosu to get revenge on Stain.
It was day 4 of work studies, in the night, when she noticed him sneak away from his supervisor and run away  into a network of alleyways. She jumped down from the roof and went to talk to the hero.
"Excuse me, Manual," Izumi said, getting his attention
"Oh, Miss Lamia, what is it," Manual replied.
"Your work study student just ran off, and I'm going to go save him before he gets himself killed." Izumi informed him before running off and scaling a building near the alleyway so she could search faster.
After a few minutes of searching, she heard a scream of pain and caught a whiff of a man who reeked of blood. She had found them.
Iida was standing tall, ranting about how he would kill Stain and protect the hero that was currently injured and paralysed, laying against the wall.
Izumi sat down with her kagune active in their non hardened state, so a pair of large wings billowed like purple and red fire behind her while 4 of her rinkaku trailed down the wall of the building while she kicked her legs in boredom.
It took all of a minute before Stain cut Iida's arm with his sword and paralysed him by licking the blood on his blade.
"Now I have two fakes to kill," Stain said, turning to kill the hero against the wall called Native.
It was at this moment that the alley was washed in a dim red and purple, a single glowing red eye visible in the darkness. Pieces of concrete and the building materials fell to the floor as Lamia's rinkaku worked to slow her fall.
"Sensei, what are you doing here," Iida said, still paralysed, looking at her.
"Saving your life, asshole, what were you thinking. Going after the Hero Killer without adequate protection," She said, the venom in her voice on full display.
"This is my fight. He crippled my brother. He can't be a hero anymore," Iida said, angry.
"And you think killing the person responsible will fix anything," she said, ready to hit him.
Her fires wings pulsed in response to her emotions.
"Chizome Akaguro. Stain. Wait, don't do anything, just listen," Izumi said, turning her head to reveal the eye that shocked him.
"I'm only listening to you because you're a true hero, Lamia," Stain said, sheathing his sword.
"Do you think revenge will make you feel better," Izumi said, asking a genuine question.
"Yes," Iida replied, the anger still evident in his voice.
"It will not trust me. I've killed many people in my time, out of necessity or out of heroicism, I genocided the entire Shie Hassaikai to find my now adopted daughter. I killed the men that directly and indirectly killed my parents and my husband's. Did I feel anything immediately after. Yes, I did, but shortly after I felt hollow, empty. Endeavor was killed by my hands. Kureo Mado, the great ghoul hunter, I let my daughter kill him. Overhaul, the deranged sociopath, had his throat slit and died choking on his own blood. All three of these deaths I felt nothing about. This is the mindset of a person, ghoul or human," Izumi monologued
Iida and Stain both started crying at the realisation of her inner darkness.
"I'm sorry Stain but I will have to take you in," Izumi said.
"I have to commend you for fighting pregnant, though" Stain replied before dashing at her with his sword.
This started a fight where Stain was outmatched but Izumi held back. He swung at her multiple times but each was parried by her rinkaku except for one which she couldn't because of the tightness of the alley. Her ukaku crystallised and fired a just a few shards before uncrystallising and looking like fire. The attack she couldn't parry, she backhanded with her left hand, snapping the sword.
"Damn, how strong are you," Stain said.
"Strong enough to lift Endeavor with ease and crush his windpipe," Izumi said.
Stain jumped over her and tried to stab her in the back with a knife. The knife contacted an unarmoured spot between her two sets of kagune and snapped on impact. This resulted in two Rinkaku wrapping around him and slamming him into the ground, breaking his back.
"That was worth the trouble of following you,"Izumi said to Iida.
"What do you mean," Iida asked
"This is my last mission before leave so I won't be doing shit like this again for another 7 months,"
"Oh, you will still be teaching though," Iida asked
"For another month then I get paid leave, I'm paid more than Midnight," Izumi chuckled.
They walked back to Manual, Izumi carrying Stain infront of her in her kagune and Iida carrying Native in a fireman's carry. Iida got told off by Manual but the punishment was to be decided by Izumi, who's punishment was for Eri to absolutely beat the shit out of him when they got back.
Stain was apprehended, and everything went as normal from then on.
Izumi got a small lecture from Ayato, who was genuinely worried but also expected it to happen. The punishment Iida went through was watched by the class, and they all took notes on how to avoid longer range attacks.
