Chan had realized his ex boyfriend crying, making him get up and walk over to him to back hug him.

"What happened Jeongin? Is everything alright?" Jeongin just turned around and normally hugged the slightly shorter male while sniffling and letting tears go from his eyes.

"Oh love, what's wrong?" Chan's soft concerned voice asked the crying boy. The crying boy took a few moments to calm himself down before weakly replying "my dad died."

Chan was surprised but slightly happy that the younger boy's father was no where to be seen in the frame. Meaning he could finally get back together with the blue and pinked haired boy in his arms.

Chsn knew he couldn't react in a happy way since the younger boy was obviously negatively affected by the death. Chan also knew how it felt to lose both parents so to react in a happy manner for the blue and pink haired boy's dad's death wouldn't be right.

"My love, are you alright? I know its going to be difficult but I'll be here for you even if I'm just a friend."

Jeongin shook his head "Chan, I loved my dad. Yeah I know he wasnt the best after finding out we dated but still. I just wanted his love, attention and approval but in the end, I still couldnt make him happy before he died."

"Shhh, it's okay Princess. It's going to be alright. I know it's going to be difficult to move on but you need to know you have people who are going to be here for you."

"It's not the same though" "yes baby, I know it's not the same but what can we do about it now?" Jeongin nodded as he knew Chan was right, they couldn't do anything about it.

"Chan we're going to watching the next movie come on" Minho exclaimed. "I'll be there in a little, you guys start it without me" Chan replied.

"Would you like to be alone? Would you like for me to take you home? Or is it okay if I continue hugging you?" Chan asked as he patted the younger's head in a comforting manner.

"Can we continue hugging for a little? I miss- I need a hug right now" Chan stayed in the same place and did as he was requested to do.

Jeongin soon calmed down and pulled away from the hug "thank you Chan. I know you probably hate me for hugging you when we're not together"

"I dont hate you, theres no way I could." Jeongin nodded and started walking back to the living room and sat down on the empty side if the couch once again, Chan following after him.

"Chan, what took you so long?" Jisung asked "something. Dont worry about it" the curly black haired male responded, sitting down next to the blue and pink haired boy.
