— two days had passed. ximena was finally out of the hospital and partially healed in her hand, still in such pain.
she was staying in anika and mindy's dorm with tara too, ethan and chad right across.
the four girls were watching a movie, white chicks. they were simply enjoying each other's company including the presence of tara and ximena.
but a phone call ruined it. tara's phone rang, and when she saw it was an unknown number, her smile faded, along with mindy, anika, and ximena's.
anika paused the movie and fully turned toward tara, leaning back into mindy's lap as ximena leaned into anika's.
tara answered the phone, putting it on speaker as she glared at the three before her.
hello, tara. long time no see. ghostface cackled, raspy, as usual.

ximena, sidney, even sam... and you! bailey jeered through his voice changer, ximena's brows furrowed.

the four girls all looked at each other with confused facial expressions.
suddenly, glass shattered. a dark figure jumped through the broken window and the girls all screamed.
chad and ethan, next door, heard the screaming and both ran out into the hallway, immediately attempting to open the door.
"mindy!" chad shouted. mindy jumped off the couch, pulling anika with her, who pulled ximena, who pulled tara into a corner, all screaming.
ximena saw the door, and decided it was the only way out. she let go of tara and anika's trembling hands and ran over to the door, struggling to unlock it.
but bailey knew what she was doing, so ran after her instead. "behind you!" tara warned.
ximena threw herself to the side, and bailey jabbed his knife into the door.
chad and ethan stepped back, flabbergasted by the sight of the sharp tip of the knife peering through the door.
"shit!" chad panicked. ximena brought her leg up and dug her foot into bailey's waist, pushing him into the restroom and slamming the door on him, holding onto the door handle to avoid him getting out.
he almost broke the door down, the wooden door began to splinter as it slowly began to break through.
he made a hole in the door, and ximena began unlocking the door. "guys! let's go!" ximena cured out,and the three girls ran over to her.
