"by doing what? separating me from somebody i — for once — actually want to be around?" ximena complained.
"if that's her way of doing it, then yeah. i guess so." anika shrugged and sighed.
"well, just talk to ethan, i guess," mindy shrugged. "i don't give good boy advice, i'm gay, remember?"
tara snickered at that, and although the upset mood, ximena couldn't help but laugh too.
"i can try." ximena huffed, still slightly grinning from mindy's comment.
minutes later, the girls fully convinced ximena to go to chad and ethan's dorm. she knocked on the door, leaning her head on it in impatience, she kind of wanted to get it over with.
chad opened the door and ximena stumbled, laughing lightly at herself. "is ethan here?" she asks. "uhhh.... no." chad lied.
"don't be annoying. i need to talk to him." ximena told. "but does he need to talk to you?" chad taunted, raising a sarcastic brow.
ximena rolled her eyes and shoved past chad, her eyes locking on ethan. "can we, please, talk?" she inquired. her brows were furrowed in a matter of hope in his approval.
ethan glared at her, hesitating. he wanted to, but debated. "fine." he gave in.
"i'll leave and go bother mindy." chad said, leaving the dorm. ximena approached ethan.
"so, my mom knows... but like i said, she doesn't have to know that we ever talk." ximena stated.
ximena once again opened her mouth to speak, but ethan cut her off.
"i want to tell you that i was an asshole yesterday and i should've listened to you. i do still want to be the one that's going to walk with you and judge chad and tara together."
it seemed as if he had broke character or something or was trying to me bad but couldn't even be anymore.
"okay." ximena maintained a straight face although inside, after hearing his words, she was screaming.
