— "so, what was that about?" tara asked and looked over to ximena, who glared back at her.
the girls were on their phones back in tara's dorm, both sprawled out on her bed. "what do you mean?" ximena mumbled before looking back to her phone.
"i mean, why did you and ethan look at each other like that last night?" tara fixed in more context.
"look at each other like what?" ximena scoffed. tara rolled her eyes and tossed her phone aside, adjusting her position on the bed to face ximena, the girl mirroring her actions.
"are you two like —" tara stopped speaking to smirk. ximena plastered a confused facial expression before understanding what tara was implying.
"no!" ximena exclaims and shook her head enthusiastically. tara laughed for a moment at her reaction.
"well, everyone else thinks it. by everyone else, i mean, anika, mindy, and chad. even me." tara added and ximena once again scoffed and rolled her eyes.
"what would he think of you guys saying that?" ximena raised a brow. "i think he'd like that idea." tara bit her tongue and held in her giggles.
"i refuse to —" ximena began, only to be cut off when her phone vibrated with a text notification.
