CHAPTER-4

Akshu was standing on the road waiting for a rikshaw, "bhaiya!arey bhaiya, uff ye koi bhi sun kyu nhi rha" Suddenly a car came, she knew whose car that was, MANIK,so she turned away.
"Ahemm!get in" Manik ordered
'Oh this man has guts to face me even after what he did?' she thought while making a face
"Suna nhi maine kya kaha?" Manik asked
"Suna na, par kya tumhe nhi pata ki jab koi insaan kisiki baat ko unsuna kar rha hai ya us insaan ko undekha kar rha hai, matlab wo use insaan ko ignore kar rha hai" Akshita said with fake sweet voice
"Listen!mera time waste ho rha hai jaldi se baitho" Manik said getting clearly irritated with the fact that this girl have nerves to answer him back
"Han toh jao na kisne roka hai" she said looking for rickshaw
Manik rolled his eyes and got down from the car, Akshita narrowed her eyes at him
"Chalo"
"Nhi"
"Last time bol raha hoon, chalo"
"Main bhi last time bol rahi hoon, nhi"
Manik picked her up
"You, leave me, kya kar rahe ho, leave me" Akshita struggled to get out of his arms but who was she kidding?
"Maine bola aane ko, but tum nhi aayi" Manik made her sit in the car and he himself settled down
"Kya hai? Zid kyu kar rahe ho?" Akshita asked annoyed
"Main zid kar raha hoon? Bacchi jaisi tum behave kar rahi ho" Manik argued
"Main bacchi nhi hoon" Akshita said irritated
"Accha?" Manik said in a fake surprised tone
"Seatbelt" Manik said but Akshita didn't budge making him sigh
He moved towards her and put the seatbelt for her, their faces were very close, they shared a eye contact but Akshita turned her face away angrily mumbling 'jerk' making Manik smile a little

"Ahem, waise itna late kyu?" Manik asked
"Nani ke ghar jaana hai isliye" she said without looking at him
"Kuch problem hai?" He asked and Akshita looked at him 'how did he knew?' she thought
"Huh?"
"Kahan kho gayi?"
"Kahin nhi"
"Han toh batao"
"Kya?"
"Kuch problem hai?"
"Nhi wo kuch kaam se jaana tha" Akshita said and he made a 'O' face
"Sab kaise hai?" Akshita asked
"Acche hai bas tumhe bohot miss kar rahe hai" Manik said making her smile
"I miss them too" she said
"Toh ghar aajao"
"Huh?"
"I mean thode dino mein toh aana hi hai"
"Han"
"Ye lo aagaye" Manik said as he stopped the car infront of 'singhania sadan'
"Aaoge nhi?" she asked
"Nhi, phir kabhi" he replied
"Thank you" she said and was going to open the seatbelt but Manik stopped her
"Main karta hoon" he said and opened it for her while she looked at him, their faces were so close, Manik came close to her face and quickly gave a peck on her forehead mumbling 'take care' making her blush a little to which he smiled lightly and he moved away
"You too take care, bye" she said smiling and got out of the car
"Bye" she waved her hand at him and he smiled

She went inside while he looked at her until she got inside then he left.

Kartik, Naksh, Kairav, Krish, Keerti, badi nani, choti nani, dadu were sitting Gayu, Vatsal and Vansh were also there
"Mamu" Akshu shouted happily but stood rooted at her place as she saw Kartik turning back
"Papa" she whispered
"Akshu" she looked at her brother then again looked at Kartik
"Bhaiya, ye" she wanted to confirm
"Sach mein hai Akshu" Kairav said and tears made out of her eyes as she saw her father after so long
"Akshu, pape ke gale nhi lagogi?" Kartik asked as he saw his chotu sherni
"Papa!" Akshu ran and hugged him tightly and Kartik held her protectively
"I missed you so much, aap kahan chale gaye the?" She asked while crying
"Hum sab batate hai Akshu pehle mujhse bhi toh mil le" Kairav said and Akshu hugged him and others too
They sat on the sofa with Akshu between her father and brother
"Bhaiya aap bataiye"
"Akshu main cape town mein tha, main bohot pareshaan ho gaya tha isliye main wahan chala gaya, wahan main papa se mila, wo plan crash mein nhi the, unka flight miss ho gaya tha par wo yahan aa nhi paaye kuch reasons ki wajhe se par ab hum yahin rahenge aur Goenkas se koi rishta nhi rakhenge" kairav said and she hugged him
