CHAPTER-14

"Good morning everyone" Akshu said and behind her was Manik smiling like an idiot

"Good morning Akshu" everyone replied

"I mean bhabhi" Arav corrected himself but surprisingly Manik didn't glared at him or scold him

"Kya baat hai bhai, bada glow kar rahe ho" Arav teased and Manik blushed like a teenager, wait MANIK? HUMARA MANIK? HE BLUSHED?

Everyone except Akshu was too shocked, Veer who just took a sip of his black coffee chocked hard and Arav was almost about to faint, Shreya started checking Manik's temperature and Dadu was traumatized and Dadi was thinking that someone did kaala jaadu to her grandson and Khushi was pinching herself to make herself believe that it's a dream while Raj smiled slightly

Akshu was confused at their reactions and Manik just rolled his eyes at his OVERDRAMATIC FAMILY.

"Maa, mujhe bhook lagi hai" Akshu said

"Han aao baitho, maine tumhare favourite aloo ke parathe banaye hai" Shreya said and moved to the dining table and Akshu was about to follow her but Manik pulled her towards himself

"Mujhe laga upar itna kuch hogaya toh tumhara peth bar gaya hoga" Manik teased and Akshu blushed slightly but quickly covered it up

"Nahi, mera peth toh nahi bhara lekin agar tumhara peth bhar gaya ho toh..." Akshu dragged 'toh'

"Toh?" Manik asked and pulled her closer

"Toh... Tum mat khao, tumhare hisse ka naashta bhi main kar lungi" Akshu said shrugging making Manik chuckle, he leaned in but they were interrupted by

"Haww haww, kahin bhi chalu hojate ho yaar aap dono, thodi toh sharam karlo, ghar mein bacche bhi rehte hai" Arav said and Akshu pushed Manik away but Manik being Manik pulled her towards himself and looked at Arav

"Han toh? Tujhe itni dikkat kyu hai chuze? Main khud ki biwi ke saath kar raha hun romance aur waise bhi yahan koi baccha nahi rehta aur tumne kya bola? Kahin bhi shuru hojate hai hum? Aur tum jo Riya ke saath office mein-" Manik was removing all his frustration on him and spilled his secrets

"Arey bhai, aap toh bura maan gaye, aap chalu rakho apna romance, hum nahi dekh rahe, par aap please kisiko mat batana mere pyaare bhai, hehe" Arav said and kissed Manik's cheeks after saying 'mere pyaare bhai' and Manik pushed him away annoyed with him for spoiling his mood and Akshu laughed at their banter

"Tumhe badi hasi aarahi hai,han?" Manik asked raising his eyebrows and Akshu ran from there and Arav chuckled

"Kya?" Manik glared at him making him run too

"Aur Manik, birthday ke kya plans hai" Shreya asked

"Plans? Wo bhi bhai ke birthday ke liye? What a joke, Mom" Arav said and earned a glare from both Manik and Shreya

"Plans kuch-" Manik was cut off by Akshu

"Hai plans, Maa, aaj hum sab pura din ghumne wale hai" Akshu said

"Accha?" Manik asked as he didn't knew about this

"Yes" Akshu smiled at him and Manik's heart fluttered, yes, it's a normal smile for everybody else, but everytime when Akshu smiles at him, he falls in love with her again & again and he's sure even if they grow old and lots of children and grandchildren, Akshu will still have this effect on him
