Manik stirred in his sleep when he felt some murmuring voices, he quickly opened his eyes when he felt his arms empty, Akshu wasn't there
He got up and checked around the room but didn't find her, he started moving towards the door when he felt someone moving behind him, he turned around
"Akshu? Come out, ye prank karne ka time nahi hai, okay, this isn't funny, come out" Manik said panicking
He moved downstairs and checked the kitchen, but she wasn't there too, he then decided to check on Arav and Khushi because these three might have decided to play some prank on him
He went to Arav's room and knocked on the door, it was opened, so he went inside and saw Arav sleeping with his one leg outside the bed, he shook his head at his behaviour, ab samajh aaya Akshu isko itna defend kyu karti hai, dono ki harkatein jo same hai
He moved out of the room and decided to check up on Khushi too when he saw Veer coming out of the room, he thought he was there to find Khushi too, so he walked to him and asked
"Bhai, Khushi bhabhi ko dhundne jaarahe ho?" Manik asked and Veer looked at him confused
"Kyu? Wo toh so rahi hai" Veer said and raised his eyebrows
"What? Bhabhi bhi hai? Toh phir ye Akshu kahan gayi" Manik murmured
"Akshu kahan gayi matlab?" Veer asked
"Matlab bhai, Akshu wo room mein nahi hai pata nahi kahan gayi" Manik said panicking
"Ek second, idhar dekh, tumhara jhagda hua tha kya?" Veer asked
"Huh? H-han wo raat ko wo naraz toh thi par maine usse mana liya tha par abhi wo mil nahi rahi" Manik said hesitantly
"KYAAA? Dekha tumhari wajhe se bechari meri behen naraz hoke kahin chale gayi, ab kahan hai, kaisi hai, kisko pata?" Veer cried d̶r̶a̶m̶a̶t̶i̶c̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ overdramatically, which was so out of his character and Manik narrowed his eyes at him
Khushi who hid behind the wall hit her forehead with her palm, her husband is a bad, oh sorry, WORST ACTOR
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" everyone shouted together and Manik turned around and saw his whole family standing there with wide smile
He ran to hug Akshu, who was surprised at the sudden hug but hugged him back
"Ohhooo, bhai, please, thodi toh sharam karlo, kahin bhi shuru hojate ho" Arav teased
Manik pulled away from the hug glaring at him and Akshu hid her face in his chest shyly making everyone laugh
Meanwhile, Khushi hit Veer's arm
"Veer ji, aap na bohot gandi acting karte ho" she said making a face while veer looked at her confused, according to him, he gave his best
"But-" veer was about to say something when
"Shhh, chup rahiye, kitna bolte hai aap" Khushi said irritatedly and veer gave her a betrayed look and pointed at himself but she ignored him
"Happy birthday, Mannu" Shreya said and Manik immediately widened his eyes and looked at Akshu but she was unbothered so he sighed in relief and hugged his mother
"Thank you, Maa"
"Happy birthday, puttar" Dadu said
"Thank you" he hugged him
"Happy birthday handsome" Dadi ji wished
"Thanks sweetheart" Manik winked at her and hugged her
"Tumne aaj tak mujhe handsome nahi bulaya" Dadu complained childishly
