I strolled through the grand hallways of the mysterious mansion, my heart raced with anticipation. I tried to examine every fucking corner.

The soft glow of the chandeliers illuminated the intricate details of the ornate ceilings, casting an enchanting spell over the surroundings. The air was thick with an aura of secrecy as if every wall held a hidden secret waiting to be unraveled.

Vegas was walking by my side. His presence exuded an air of mystery and danger,  With each step, Our fingers brushed against each other, sending electric shocks through my veins.

It was a forbidden connection, a dance between truth and lies.

As I navigated through the labyrinthine hallways, I couldn't help but notice the portraits lining the walls.

With every passing moment, I couldn't help but wonder Is it would be helpful to find out about Ruby's death by marrying him. What dark pasts were buried beneath its luxurious facade? And most importantly, what were they hiding? As they continued our journey, My mind raced with questions, my curiosity growing with each step.

The bedroom is located on the upper floor of the mansion, offering a stunning view of the sprawling estate. As We entered, I was greeted by the sight of a grand four-poster bed, draped in luxurious silk sheets and adorned with plush pillows.

The walls are covered in dark, textured wallpaper, giving the room a sense of intimacy and secrecy. A large, ornate chandelier hangs from the ceiling, casting a warm glow.

In one corner of the room, there's a cozy seating area with a velvet armchair and a small table.

"You can go ahead and use the restroom first," Hearing his voice, I got stiffened up.

Fuck, I was too busy observing that to forget about that first-night thing.

"Are there any issues?" He asked, Examining me from head to toe
His gaze was so intense that I looked away quickly.

Had he caught me looking strangely everywhere? He is a skilled mafia and knows precisely what's happening around him.

But when he stood in front of me I looked straight in his eyes.

"Why are we living in the same room?" I wanted to shut my mouth but, my true self can't hide away.

"Why did you marry me?"
He asked with a deep breath and then he asked to me sit.

Bastard, answer my question first.

I quickly scooted over when he sat on the same couch beside me. I turned my head to watch him.

"I'm just another playing piece, I was forced to marry you," I lied.

When his eyes met his mind there was a muscle ticking in his jaw.

"Are you happy you're married to me?"

I scowled barely.

"I am happy that I'm doing that for good for my clan, What about you?"

"Pete, I married you, don't expect much from me," His voice was faint but held superiority.

Bitch, Who expected from you?

When I glanced up at him my eyes were threatening. But, I quickly looked down and suppressed my anger.

I can't get caught the first day.

"I need some fresh air," I said, feeling a bit overwhelmed. I made my way to the balcony, craving a moment of solitude. He followed me, closing the glass doors that led to his room, creating a sense of privacy.

As I leaned against the wall, watching his every movement very carefully, I could sense a certain tension in the air. He tracked down towards me, standing straight, his eyes piercing into mine.

"Don't you want to spend our first night together?" he asked, his voice laced with lust.
