He took control and escalated the passion to a whole new level. His hands firmly gripped my hips, and with a few swift steps, he pushed me onto the bed.
The impact made me gasp into his mouth as I hit the mattress. But then, I hissed and pushed him away forcefully.
"I needed to prove myself, and I already did," I spoke, my voice husky and heavy from the intensity of the kiss.
"Fuck, bloody hell, you're incredible," he cursed, quickly retreating to the washroom, running his hands through his hair.

In the blink of an eye, two days have passed since that incident.
And I was behaving like a teenage boy who had just discovered sex.
I closed my eyes tightly and let out a deep sigh, I felt like killing someone.
I felt like, I should just run from somewhere far, far away from Vegas's shadow.
I felt so weak, whenever I saw Vegas I got that thought I shouldn't get.
I shake off those thoughts and make my way upstairs, my eyes glued to my phone.
I can't seem to reach anyone from our clan. I dial Isabella's number again, but it still doesn't go through.
Should I resort to asking someone to hack her phone?
I walk into my room, totally absorbed in my phone, not expecting anything out of the ordinary. As I step inside, my eyes slowly lift from the screen, and there, in front of me, is Vegas.
Shirtless, with water droplets glistening on his sculpted chest, he looks mesmerizing. My heart starts racing, and a mix of nerves and excitement courses through me.
Vegas's intense gaze pierced through me. My palms grew clammy, and my breath hitched in my chest. It felt like time stood still, and the room seemed to grow hotter, charged with an irresistible energy. I couldn't help but be completely captivated by his presence, my mind racing with a whirlwind of thoughts.
"Oh, you're here," Vegas declared, his voice dripping with a mixture of confidence and mystery. He moved closer, closing the distance between us, and I found myself rooted to the spot, unable to move.
"I want to talk to you about something important that we both need to attend together," he continued his words hanging in the air. Vegas stood before me, completely unbothered by his lack of clothing, his sculpted physique on full display.
Caught off guard by his sudden proximity, I tore my gaze away from his chest and met his intense stare. "Is there an issue, Pete?" Vegas asked, his voice low and commanding, breaking the chain of my thoughts.
Oh, Vegas, you are the issue here, I thought to myself, feeling a mix of confusion and desire. "Um, nothing. What... what are you saying?" I stammered, my words faltering under the weight of his penetrating gaze.
What the hell is wrong with me?
"Pete, I was saying that we have to attend a mafia party together," Vegas repeated, his eyes never leaving mine. I felt small under his scrutinizing gaze, my heart pounding in my chest.
"Why?" I managed to ask, my voice barely above a whisper. Vegas rolled his eyes before moving towards the closet, slipping on a shirt.
"At this party, the most powerful mafias from around the world will be present with their partners. I've always attended alone, but this year, I want to go with you," Vegas explained, his voice tinged with a hint of command as he buttoned up his shirt.
Just as I was about to respond, my phone rang, interrupting the moment. The caller ID read 'Unknown', adding an extra layer of mystery to the situation.
Without thinking twice, I swiftly answered the call and stepped out of the room, leaving Vegas behind. On the other end of the line, I heard a familiar voice, one that I could recognize in an instant. It was Isabella, and her tone held a sense of urgency.
"Pete, are you okay?" she asked, concern lacing her words.
Relief washed over me as I realized Isabella was safe and sound. "I should be asking you that, Isabella. Where have you been all this time?" I responded, my voice filled with a mix of curiosity and relief.
Isabella's voice took on a serious tone as she began to share the truth with me. "I wanted to talk to you about something incredibly important. Listen carefully," she said, her words hanging in the air with a weight that sent shivers down my spine.
"Go ahead," I urged, my heart pounding in my chest, eager to hear what she had to say.
And then, she dropped the bombshell. "Your father wasn't killed by Vegas or something, Pete. It was your uncle, Anderson," Isabella revealed, her voice filled with conviction.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "What the hell are you talking about, Isabella?" I exclaimed, my mind struggling to process the shocking revelation.
Isabella's voice remained steady, her determination shining through. "It's the truth, Pete. I found out the day you married Vegas. But when Anderson discovered that I knew the truth, he imprisoned me in his basement for an entire month. I managed to escape just a day ago, and now I'm in New York."
