Chapter 19 Lost

I stood there staring into the trees were Dean had run. His car was parked next to mine and I was hoping when he came to get it we would be able to talk.

All of us girls walked back inside and got dressed, none of us thought twice about modesty.

I was sitting at the table picking at a salad.

"Not very good?" Emily asked from behind me

I jumped, which was weird on its own because I could hear things past the highway.

"I didn't mean to scare you." She said with a chuckle as she sat down.

"I was thinking..."

"I bet you were." She smiled

I rolled my eyes. "That was the weirdest thing I have ever felt since I first changed in a ball of fire."

"Wow, I apologized all ready for scaring you." Emily was laughing

"I think I liked you better pre-wolf. You have become a brat." I retorted

"Yes the imprinting is strong, it gives and takes. I am sorry you didn't get a chance to talk to Dean before Sam sent him away. I do feel Sam was being unfair."

"He was mad, and the one thing Sam does when he is mad is be bossy and try calling all the shots." I said as I looked down at the salad I wasn't eating.

Emily got up and walked over to the pantry, she disappeared for a min and returned with chocolate cake cookies with peanut butter chips and grabbed 2 glasses of milk.

"This will taste better," As she set the milk and cookies on the table.

"I am not sure I can eat, I keep getting glimpses of something and can't piece it together. I think the feelings from the imprinting are getting in the way and all my powers are off. All I see is crying and feel sadness, it is frustrating."

"I can see how seeing the future could be frustrating; I would not want to have that responsibility. So in all that you have seen you never saw Dean coming?"

I looked at Emily as she spoke; I shook my head,

"The things I see do not directly have anything to do with my personal life. I see my sister, the pack, my aunt, ect: but nothing with my own personal life. I do watch the market and invest accordingly, I could help you if you would like, you could make sure all your little's are taken care of." I winked at her.

"All my little's; just 2 for me, thanks." She said rolling her eyes.

"If you say so." I said as I ate another cookie.

The other girls came in grabbed food to eat and sat down at the table.

I looked at them, "Now that the guys all know you all need to go talk to them, they need to hear from each of you on your personal decisions."

"She is right, after lunch we will go back to the res and find our boys. I have a feeling not all will be happy." Emily was munching on my salad.

Rachel looked up, "Do you really think they will be mad? Paul is already so moody half the time."

"He is just hangry, feed him more" Kim said

"I would but we are always low on food as it is. They eat so much after patrol. I hate that they even call it patrol."

"It is kind of stupid to call it patrolling, but food isn't an issue, I will make sure all your families have what they need. No it is not charity, I will teach you all how to invest in the stock market. I will let you all know when It's time to buy and sell. We will set up accounts tomorrow and get you all started if you want."
