Part Four: There's No "I" in "Duo"

It's just like déjà vu for Vash. Being cornered, trapped, thinking about having to run again, people running away in fear? Vash didn't want anyone else to get hurt.

"Needle-Noggin!"

Bandits were closing in on them from all angles. Each second passed by as they got closer to Vash and Wolfwood.

I don't know what to do...

"Blondie!"

Vash knew he had to make up his mind. But he just stood there and looked at the boss.

"TONGARI DAMN IT!"

Wolfwood had enough. Once the bandits were close enough from behind, he grabbed his gun and hit the five of them all at once.

"DUCK SPIKEY!" He warned.

Vash ducked while the bandits flew across the street into someone's outdoor shop.

"YOU LITTLE SHITS! GET THEM!" The boss demanded.

Wolfwood and Vash ran to an alleyway full of hanged up clothes and trash cans. As they got to the end, more bandits were surrounding them. Wolfwood was figuring out what to do so he grabbed a lid of the trash, threw it, and hit three of them.

"Why won't they just give up!" Wolfwood grabbed a blue luminous healing potion from his coat, snapped the tip of it, and drank it.

Steam was coming off of the injury where he had been shot and kept running. He also had to check up on Vash because he seemed a bit off.

"You're not going anywhere!!!" Some bandit said shooting away at them.

"GET OVER HERE TONGARI!" Wolfwood grabbed Vash holding him tight as he blocked the wild gunshots with his crossed gun.

"Man! These guys are crazy!" sneered Wolfwood.

Vash was in his own world just following Wolfwood.

"Hey, Spikey! Get it together!" He yelled at Vash.

"Let's just hide for now-"

"Then they're just going to come back no matter what! We have to fight them! If we don't, it's game over-"

"I KNOW THAT!" Vash yelled at Wolfwood.

It shocked Wolfwood that Vash snap at him.

"WE ARE NOT GOING TO KILL ANYONE!"

"Well then, let's just knock them out!"

Once the bandit was out of bullets, Wolfwood leaned down and got on the floor carrying his gun on his back. Vash backs up wondering what he's trying to do.

"Why don't you relieve some stress, Needle-Noggin?" Wolfwood smirked.

Vash just stared at him but he had to do something. Vash takes out his gun and starts running toward Wolfwood's gun. Wolfwood then gives him a push-up into the air for Vash to attack the bandit. While still in the air, Vash puts bullets in his Revolver but doesn't actually shoot the bandit. Instead, when he got closer to the ground, he jumped onto the guy and knocked him out.

"Wow so graceful," Wolfwood teased.

"Yeah yeah- BEHIND YO-"

*POW!*

Wolfwood had a spare gun and pointed it behind him, hitting one of the bandits' guns. He then turns around and kicks them in the face leaving the poor bandit with teeth flying everywhere.

"Ai- that's disgusting, now I have blood and saliva on my shoes," moped Wolfwood trying to shake the leftover access.

"Come on, let's go!" Vash says while Wolfwood follows.
