We stepped into a club called BluBar and the loud noise took over.
There was music was blasting out of the speakers and the room was lit up all different colours. I was so glad to be able to go out again. I didn't have a specific time to go to bed at anymore, I could finally do what I want. Well, do what I want that's not illegal.
"One margarita please!", I shouted over the bar.
"It's a little cold out for a margarita don't you think?", Alex shouted over the music.
I laughed as I remembered her saying that to me the day we met.
"I'll have a vodka and lime please!", Alex shouted to the bartender.
I gazed around at the people dancing, all having a great time.
When mine and Alex's drinks arrived, we both stayed seated at the bar and drank, drink after drink.
After many cocktails and shots, I became very tipsy, and so did Alex.
"Let's go...dance", Alex said.
Before I even had the chance to reply, she was dragging me over to the dance floor.
We were both 'dancing' to milkshake by Kelis, just like in prison. But this time we could do whatever the hell we wanted. Even if it was "lesbian activity".
The night passed, me and Alex had a great time. We danced, we made out...a lot. But what can I say, it happens.
We stumbled out of the club together. Alex walked a little further on, leaving me falling over my own feet trying to catch up. She reached into her clutch and took out her phone and a cigarette.
"Hi, can I have a taxi frommmm...the BluBar club to ummmmm...PIPER...HEY PIPER!"
Alex stood on the sidewalk waving and jumping in order to get my attention even though I was already looking at her. I laughed at how drunk Alex was and stumbled over to her.
"Yes my love...", I say.
"What's your...address..?", she asks as she throws her arm around me.
"56 Cross Lane"
"A taxi to 46...no no no not 46...56 Cross Lane pleasssse", she slurrs down the phone.
"Seeya later alligator", Alex sings before hanging up.
There's different types of drunk people. People who cry, people who kiss everyone they see, people who are just too drunk to talk, and people who could have you in stitches. Alex was definitely the type to have me in stitches. Seeing her drunk always made me happy because she is hilarious.
She attempts to light her cigarette but she is too drunk so she just flicks it on the floor.
"I love you Pipes", Alex says as she tucks a piece of hair behind my ear.
"I love you too", I replied.
Alex's attention was suddenly drawn to something behind me.
"Oh shit...fuck...don't turn around", Alex said.
"What....why?", I ask.
"It's Sylvie", Alex replies.
She grabs my hand and leads me around the corner of the block.
"Oh thank God...she didn't see us, that silly fucking horrible fucking silly..."
"Yeah...Alex, I get you. She's a crazy bitch that attacked me", I giggled.
Me and Alex stood giggling on the sidewalk like a pair of kids. The taxi pulled up and me and Alex walked over to get it.
Just as we were about to get in the cab, I heard a familiar voice behind me.
"Well...if it isn't Alex Vause"
We both turned around to see Sylvie.
"Fuck me...", Alex sighed.
