Life After Vegas.

Having been raised in a Christian family,Mark now is ready to start his own life as a believer.He decides to move from Las Vegas to Los Angeles hoping to get things in order,find a job ,become successful,get married but most importantly find a new church where he will be rooted as he continues to grow more in Christ.Being the only child in the family,his parents find it hard to let him go to another state but because of love ,they had to give him that chance of experiencing adulthood.
Mark moves to LA and on arrival to Simi Valley,he is received by realtors for an apartment his parents bought for him for a start.
Mark:Hi,good evening,my name is Mark, I assume you are Victor?
Realtor:Hi Mark,yes I'm Victor nice to finally meet you.The  house is ready,we just need you to review some few things before you sign the papers,and the house will be all yours.
Mark:Thank you Soo much,once I've settled in , I'll check out everything ,you can come back tomorrow to collect the papers.
Realtor:Thank you ,I hope you enjoy your stay here in Simi.
Mark:I appreciate, thanks.

After settling in for two days,Mark embarks on a journey to finding a job in Simi Valley.He checks out all the job websites and luckily he bumps into one at SPIN MASTER .
Having no friends yet,he goes for the job because of trying to make a living .SPIN MASTER,is a club and an illegal gambling palace which is hidden in the hood.Only rich ninjas come to that *SECRET PALACE* as they call it.Mark, working as a waiter,meets with a young lady by the name Kate,who has been working at the Secret palace for more than 5years and the most trusted waitress with the bosses .Kate,who lives in the same building as Mark ,begins to befriend him,but Mark  still being  uncomfortable with the job he chose ,decides not to get close to her and avoid her .

After 3months of working together,they eventually became friends,even though Mark still didn't know that where he was working was not approved by the government.Kate ,who is now becoming more attached to Mark,one day while driving home together,sweet talks Mark and confesses about her feelings towards him.Mark remained silent for a while for it is in his nature to always meditate and think before responding.A week later ,Mark asked Kate to be his girlfriend and she said yes.
Excited Mark,breaks the news to his parents that he is now in a relationship and also have a nice paying job ,not clarifying the exact job he's doing because he knew his parents wouldn't be happy about it.

Kate,being secretive never told Mark about the deeeep secrets of the Spin Master.But one day she finally breaks the silence ,and confessed how things move around,how they do drugs monthly as commanded by the bosses.(Desperate Mark signed the contract not reading the rules of the Secret Palace)
Now the following day,Kate was supposed to be drugged for 24hours so that she can continue working at secret palace.
Kate:Hey babe,we need to talk about something,do you have time?
Mark:Yes honey , what's up?
Kate :Can you please come over to my apartment.
Mark:Yeah sure give me five minutes,and I'll be there.
*Door bell*
Kate:Come in ,it's unlocked.
Mark:Hey,how are you,I hope everything issokay.
Kate: Everything's is not okay (shaking because of fear)
Mark:Relax honey,talk to me please,I don't like seeing you like this,what's going on ?
Kate:Promise me ,you will be with me even after what am about to say.
Mark:It's okay,I will always be with you no matter what .
Kate:So,the Spin Master is not what you think.I know you did not read all the rules in the contract and that is why you chose the job.No one has ever accepted to work there except me who was also desperate like you looking for a job and immediately signed the contract without reading it.
Mark:It's okay,as long as we are earning cash,that should not be a problem.
Kate:Please just listen to me,the Bosses of $pin Master are illegal gamblers.That place is not approved by the government.Every single month,we usually get a drug injection ,but for New comers,they usually give them three months before they start receiving the injection.I know you are  three  months old and that means it's almost your time to get your *Melissa Shot* as they call it.
Mark:(Shocked and in disbelief)What! Let's report them to the police .Why would they force us to take the shots .That's illegal .
Kate:You are not forced,if you signed the contract to work at the $pin Master that means you agreed to their terms and conditions.And that's not all.I am usually forced to make the bosses happy  in those 24hours after the shots.Men are always forced to go into and satisfy the Young Rich Mama's needs .All these were part of the rules.
Mark:Breaks down in tears.
Kate: I'm Soo sorry babe,I know you did it out of desperation,but it's okay we are gonna get out of this soon .Just few more years left.Men's contract usually last for 5yrs and ladies contract goes for ten years .
Mark:😭😭😭🤧what did I get myself into . I'm a disgrace to my family.What will my parents say of me.
Kate:(Comforting him)Sings a heartbreak song.
