Part 3:REST

One of the finest village in Africa,hoping to be upgraded by year 2030 ,as they call it "vision 2030' is where Susan comes from .One afternoon after heavy rains,Susan was present when her mother and aunty got into a fight,and her cousins were supporting her aunt to beat her.Poor Mama Susan with her child watching her helplessly being beaten up while she also expectant.Susan's mom goes into her house,packs her bags because she can't stand the disrespect she's getting from her in laws.
Susan was only 7years of age when she was witnessing all this happen .Each and every single time,she missed her mother,her step sister was always there to comfort and assure her that Mama will come back some day she just needs to cool off her mind.
Phone Rings"
Mama Susan:I lost the baby,you guys take care ,I'll come back soon,okay .Be strong for me my kids.
Step sister:Will do so Mama,take care .

Mama Susan had a miscarriage after the beating she got from her in laws,no way the little one could have survived . Little Susan goes to school, studies hard hoping that her mother will hear of her performance and come back home but to no avail.Years have gone by,no talks ,no communication.But all that did not stop her from achieving her dreams of becoming a doctor.Life got harder each day with no food to eat and she has to go to school.According to how she was raised ,you cannot eat at your neighbours house.Young lady starved going to school,her step sister got married and went away left her alone when she was a teenager.After her final primary examination,she did not hit the pass mark,but that did not stop her .She was later enrolled in high school,still pushing on despite everything that is going on at home,she let none of these affect her studies now that she is a teenager.One evening she gets back home,to her surprise Mama is back .
Mama Susan:My little baby girl is all grown up.
Susan:(breaks down in tears, Everything flashes back and she remembers all that happened)
Mama Susan:Where are they?And your sister?
Susan:How could they have lived long Mama after what they did to you?Sister left without saying a word to me.
Mama Susan:Don't worry,I'm here for you,let's leave the past behind and go start a new life.I know your sister got married and she doesn't even care about us.It Is okay my baby,I was always watching you from a distance.
Susan:Where is this new life Mama.
Mama Susan:We are going to live in the city.

They left to go and live in a city.Susan had sponsors who were paying for her school fees,she managed to get in touch with them through her mother's phone and thanked them for everything they did to support her .
After a long conversation with her mother,she realized that her mother never abandoned her but cared for her and was always in her thoughts daily and that her mother is the one who connected her with the sponsors.Now Susan is enrolled in a private school where she's tryna catch up with city life.Many of the teachers loved her alot because of her performance in school and how respectful she was while other students were planning on how to destroy all that affection because of envy but thankfully Susan wasn't an easy going kind of a girl.One evening while walking home from school,her classmates went after her to try and shut her up from always asking too many questions in class.Susan always knew how to defend herself since she was a child and she truly gave the girls what they deserved.

The first term wasn't really well for Susan,since she didn't make any friends because she loved saying the truth and students hated her for that.She goes home by herself everyday, sometimes in the company of her teachers who also happened to live nearby where she lived.Her mom was Soo worried about her because she didn't want her to go through a rough time anymore so she suggested that they change schools but Susan didn't agree because it would affect her performance .Slowly some students started approaching her asking for help with their assignment and she was soo happy to help them out.By third term she eventually became friends with some of the classmates despite the bad vibes she was getting from the others .
Susan and her friends loved music and so they participated in music festivals and everything she was doing was just prosperous.The entire school reffered to her as the* Queen of Anointed High School*
During the final examination,she missed one of the last papers because she got unwell but after the results came out she was still at the top having scored a plain A.
All the teachers and students never wanted to let her go but she has to anyways.Her mother was Soo proud of her daughter despite all the struggles of paying for her school fees ,she also had much faith in God and made sure every Sunday she took her daughter to church.
