PROLOGUE
"Get Lost!" he shouted in his husky voice.
"Please... Just tell me what did I do..? Absolutely nothing!" I pleaded.
"I said get lost!" he said, this time rudely and emphasizing the words get lost. I felt tears forming in my eyes and rolling down my cheeks. He ignored me the whole week and when I manage to get hold of him, what I hear is get lost. I couldn't believe my ears.
"But why... what about...us..?" my voice was barely audible.
"US?! What us?" he asked casually.
"But you said me that you loved me damnit!"
"I was lying.... Ok! It was all a lie" he whispered lowering his head. "I never loved you. And I thought you were smart enough to understand that I was playing with you." And with those words he left, he left me crying.
"But I LOVE YOU!" I shouted back with a mix of anger and hurt.
Oh god, this could not be happening, I thought. With his last words I felt my heart break into million little pieces by my first love. This pain was worse than a knife being stabbed through my heart. I have never felt so empty, crushed, broken and used. I don't know how long I sat there crying until I heard my phone ringing. It was Nicole, my best friend.
"Hey babe! I was wondering if..."
"Can you pick me?" I interrupted.
"Summer? Why are you crying?" her voice full of concern.
"I'll tell you. Please come." I told her my location and hung up.
