Waking up to happiness and Drama

Summer's P.O.V.

I woke up to light coming from my windows and a throbbing head, like someone was repeatedly hitting me with a hammer on my head. I tried to sit but something heavy on my abdomen and panicked for a split second but all my thoughts about beating the crap out of the person flew out of the window as I took in the familiar fragrance and a peacefully sleeping face of a green-eyed sexy boy sleeping next to me on my bed. His lips were curved into a smile, his full-red lips, which I kissed.

I didn’t realise that I've been staring for long until I heard his sleepy husky voice "Don’t go Edward Cullen on me now."

I looked away, embarrassed that he caught me staring but quickly looked back. I don’t blush!!

"Did you just quote twilight on me Mr. Basketball captain?" I teased.

"Its Mr. Sexy captain for you, beautiful” words rolled out of his tongue easily.

"Yeah, why not Mr. Sexy captain." I replied in a husky voice as I straddled him, my legs on either side of him as he lay on my bed. I leaned in a little and suppressed a satisfying smile at his reaction. His cheeks turned pink and he closed his fat mouth, unable to speak anything.

"Speechless now, are we Mister?"

I quickly got off him and made my way to the bathroom as I heard him groan and mumbling something about being a tease. A full blown grin made its way on my face. I brought back some Advil and water for our hangover.

As I finished brushing, Drake walked in, picked up my toothbrush and started brushing his teeth.

"What do you think you are doing?" I raised an eyebrow.

"What? It isn’t anything different from kissing."

I blushed a little before hitting his arm.

"I don’t share my toothbrush with anyone who isn’t my boyfriend." I shot back, silently hoping that he'd ask me out.

"Too bad, I just did." he said after rinsing his mouth and placing the toothbrush back and walked out.

I couldn’t help but feel disappointed that he didn’t ask me out but I thought about his words last night and all the disappointment vanished.

As I walked out, I saw what I thought I'd never ever witness.

Drake was pressed against the wall by... Will? What?

Drake looked utterly confused but he wasn’t strong enough to fight back.

"Who are you and what are you doing here? I just saw you walking out of her bathroom while she is still inside. I'll kill you if I find out you did anything with her. Wait, I'll kill you anyway!" Will lifted his fist but I quickly ran and grabbed it.

"Leave him Will! LEAVE DRAKE THIS BLOODY INSTANT!!" I yelled.

Will let go off Drake but still stood protectively. Just then my dad barged in shouting something, wearing his weird bathing robe, holding a....

...lamp?

What the...?

What's wrong with people around me?

And to add to my embarrassment in front of my prospective love interest, my mom walked him, smiling smugly.

Then she dropped the bomb.

"Did you guys use protection?"

Hell broke loose.

Drake was once against roughly pushed against the wall, with Will holding him high so as only Drake's toes touched the ground. My dad was a little confused, he looked like he was contemplating if he should actually use the lamp and my evil mom stood there slyly smiling. While I stood there with a tomato face. I've never been so embarrassed before in my life.

I stomped towards Will and pried him off poor Draky and gave him death glares.

"I told to you leave him the fu- fudge alone!!" I corrected but still kept my voice stern.

We didn’t sleep together like 'that'. We just shared a bed."

Mom and Dad sighed, maybe relaxed, and left the room. Weird parents, I have.  Normally mothers warn their daughters about guys and fathers held a shotgun. But my parents aren’t really normal, so yeah...

"Dude! He saved me from drunk guys last night so back off and calm the fuck down. He wouldn’t hurt me, and you’re over reacting!"

Will backed away and sheepishly smiled at Drake.

"I'm sorry, it’s just that she is like my sister and I was looking out for her..."

"Drake, this is Will, Nate's best friend since diaper days. Will, this is Drake." I didn’t know how to introduce him, as a best friend or boyfriend. But he was none, our relationship is hanging somewhere in midst.

They both did the weird guy handshake thing.

"What are you even doing here? Shouldn’t you be at college of banging some random chick?" I raised brow at Will. Yes, he and Nate are total manwhores. Disgusting boys, if you ask me.

"College break due to some shit." he shrugged.

"Oh My!! If you are here then Nate-"

"Sleeping in his room." he cut me off as I ran out and towards Nate's room where he was peacefully sleeping. Well, not for long, I thought as I jumped onto his bed and started tickling him.

He woke up abruptly and fell off the bed, laughing.

"When did you come?" I asked after he stopped laughing.

"About an hour ago maybe. Mom let us in but she said that you were sleeping and maybe would be hangover so I didn’t bother going to your room."

I internally thanked mom because if Will's reaction was bad, Nate's would be worse if he saw Drake on the same bed with me.

"You asshole! Why didn’t you tell me before?"

"Uh- Surprise!" Nate and Will exclaimed. Will entered the room sometime when we were talking.

"Breakfast!" mom shouted from downstairs and all three of us ran down.

"Mom, where is Drake?" I asked when I didn’t see him in the kitchen. Will and Nate were shoving each other at the bottom of the staircase, trying to block each other's ways.

"He just left. His mom called so he had to leave but he apologised for not being able to see you before going." mom smiled. "He's a nice guy." I just nodded, unable to think of a reply.

"Date who?" Nate butted in as he took a seat to my left.

"No one." I replied before mom could even open her mouth and sent her a look. She had already caused so much drama for a morning.

As soon as pancakes were presented on the counter, the question was long forgotten and all three of us dug in.

"You sure eat a lot for being a girl." Will teased. Nate and I just slapped his head upside down and continued eating.

Finally, everything will be perfect.
