Summer's P.O.V.

I woke up next morning with puffy and stingy eyes. I hate crying! I got up and walked towards my bathroom, took a shower and got ready for school. I didn't want to go to school but today was Nicole's last day at school and she didn't want to miss it. I pulled some black jeans and white blouse with a pair of running shoes. After tying my hair in a bun and applying a thin coat of mascara, I walked out of my room.

I saw Nicole and others waiting for me at the school parking lot. Everyone hugged me and Adam kissed my forehead "Don't worry Summer, everything will be alright." I smiled at him.

Cassie, Nicole and Sophia exchanged knowing looks which confused me. I decided to ignore it.

When I entered, I saw a crowd of girls around Tyler's locker, a pang of sadness rushed over me. Nicole clearly noticed my expression and came over my side and whispered "Be strong dear." I smiled and walked towards my locker. I glanced at Tyler and saw his face covered in bruises.

"Who gave you this makeover Tyler?" Adam laughed.

"Suits you" said Nicole.

He shot glares at both of them and then continued talking to the bimbos around him.

"I got these while I was saving a woman from..." but he was interrupted by Nicole.

"Stop lying Tyler, Why don't you tell them the truth?" Nicole smirked.

"Shut up and get lost Nicole" Tyler glared.

"Girls!" Nicole shouted and everyone moved their attention from Tyler to Nicole "This poor Tyler messed up with a wrong girl, so I had to give him this makeover with the help of Cassie and Sophia." Some of them gasped while others laughed hysterically. I gaped at her.

Tyler's face was red, he was clearly embarrassed. He pushed everyone out of his way and stormed out through the main door.

We had a good laugh after he stormed off.

"I can't believe you girls did that." Adam laughed.

"Seriously girls, it was a heck of embarrassment for him." I laughed so hard.

Nicole... did this... Nicole is protective of me but I never thought she would beat Tyler up. After grabbing some books from my locker and walked quickly toward my class. After English, Nicole, Cassie, Sophia, Adam and I with a bunch of other friends decided to skip the classes.

We celebrated Nicole's last day at school. After the morning incident, Tyler decided not to show up in front of me. After school we all went to Nicole's place and helped her pack.

Six days had passed since that 'Incident'. I still cried myself to sleep but I never told my friends about it, not even Nicole. I wanted her last week to be memorable but one thing I knew for sure was that Nicole could see the hurt in my eyes, the pain I have been experiencing. Nicole knew me from as long as I could remember. And it was confirmed when she took me in the corner and asked me how I was doing.  

"Summer please buck up. I miss the old happy and cheerful Summer, whose smile could light up hope in even the dead!" 

"It's difficult for me but I'm trying my best. I promise."

"Awwh... I didn't beat him up to see this face of yours." She joked.

I laughed remembering his embarrassment. Then she engulfed my into a bear hug and soon Sophia and Cassie joined us.
