Urgh

I woke up to the sound of my ringtone, for Drake. I started moving my hands to find my phone. Without bothering to check who it is, I answered the call.

“Hello…” I mumbled.

“Good morning Summer!” said a cheery voice. I checked the time, 4.00 am.

“It’s not morning Drake. Why are you calling me at freaking 4 in the morning?!” I said irritated. Well obviously I am irritated; he’s calling me at friggin’ 4 in morning.

“Relax Grumpy pants! Get ready in 5 minutes.”

“I understand that you are excited for our first day of high school, but seriously?”

“I’m standing right outside your window and I need to show you something.” He replied excitedly.

I shot out of my bed as soon as his words processed in my mind and pulled open my window revealing a very happy Drake.

“Get in.” I shouted. He nodded and began climbing in.

I went straight to bed, not bothering to help because I was sleepy and definitely not a morning person.

“Get ready, we don’t have much time.” He said while brushing off his cloths.

“Let me sleep…” I mumbled in my pillow.

He picked me out of my lovely bed so I had to give up. I quickly brushed my teeth and washed my face. After brushing my hair I walked out of the washroom. Drake lay on my bed and gazed my bedroom ceiling.

“I’m ready. Whatever you need to show me better be worth of my 2 hours of sleep.”

He quickly got up, grabbed my hand helped me to get down the window.

“Ok so where are we going at 4 in the morning?” I asked him when I sat in the passenger seat of his car.

“Surprise.” He winked.

I groaned and dozed off to my sleep. I woke up to someone lightly stirring me.

“Wake up darling… we’re here.”

“You sound like a love struck husband.” I chuckled.

“Yeah yeah, whatever. Now get up.”

I stepped out of the car and saw an unfamiliar place. It was a cliff from where the view of the city was visible. It is really beautiful.

“Wow.”

“I know.” He chuckled.

“You should be a tourist guide. You know?”

“Why?”

“Because you know about the most beautiful places in this city." I’ve never been here before.”

He chuckled. We walked to the edge of the cliff and sat there. Drake put his arm over my shoulders and pulled me closer. We sat there looking at the dark scene in front of us. It gave an eerie feeling to the atmosphere.
