“But what happened? Is something wrong?”

Her expression changed from anger to pain and sympathy.

“Summer…” and she hugged me.

I looked over at Soph who was standing right next to Cassie and noticed her tensed expression.

What was happening?

Yours one and only, Who?

“What’s happening?” I asked, voicing my thoughts.

Cassie pulled away and came to stand by my side. We three walked in the school, both my best friends on either of my side, clutching my hands.

“Girls, you are scaring me now. Please tell me what happened?” they were silent and I have asked them a million times but it’s always answered by their silence. Finally we reached my locker, where I spotted Adam and Drake.

“Guys, is someone going to tell me what’s wrong?”

“Summer, I wanted your Math book for the last lecture so I opened your locker and found this.” Cassie handed me a yellow note.

I grabbed the note and unfolded it.

‘My dear Summer,

You are sweet and beautiful but you obviously know that. But you don’t know what I feel for you. I LOVE YOU SUMMER GREY <3 I have been in love with you ever since I saw you. But you never notice me, first Tyler and now Drake. Why don’t you notice me? They are players and you know that.

I hope you notice me soon. If you don’t then, I’ll make you notice me. Forget Drake and come to me.

It read. I was shocked, I stood still reading and re-reading it. It was a threat, at least that’s what I think. Why this is happening to me! Every shitty thing in one day. First the Demon’s talk and now this creepy note.

“Summer?” Adam’s voice cut my thoughts.

“This is creepy.” I finally said.

“Yeah, this guy is crazy.” Cassie said.

“I know right!” Soph spoke.

I looked at Drake, waiting for him to say something but he didn’t. He just stared at the note in my hand, deep in thoughts.

“Drake?” I said, like begging him to say something.

“I think it’s a threat for me to stay away from you and if that’s what this creep wants, I’ll stay away from you. I don’t want you to get in trouble.”

His words sent chills down my spine. As soon as those words left his lips, I felt vulnerable and broken.

“No…” I whispered.

“I think it’s just a prank.” I said and crushed the note, amd pocketed it..

“Let’s just forget about it.” I suggested and smiled.

Everyone thought about it and nodded, hesitantly. I pulled everyone out. As we walked out, I saw Cam standing near his car, looking at his feet.

“Hey! Gay Cammy!” I shouted, since there were only six of us in the parking lot.
