Golden eyes darted from left to right as Saihara raced through the forest, Tetsutetsu hot on his heels the whole way.
"Do you see anything yet, boss?" Tetsutetsu shouted as the third year kept up his breakneck pace.
"Yep!" the orange haired boy exclaimed as he skidded to a halt, "I see something, alright! Not one, but two!"
Almost immediately, Kaibara and Komori emerged from the bushes and skidded to a halt in front of the duo.
"Tsk, ran right into them..." Kaibara grumbled with a grimace, his brows furrowed in slight frustration.
"Ha! This match is already over!" Tetsutetsu exclaimed, his entire body turning to steel as he raced towards his classmates, "Victory is ours!"
Before he could get close, Saihara snatched him up by the back of his clothing and held him up as the boy kept running before realizing he wasn't going anywhere.
"Huh? What gives, boss?" he questioned.
Saihara smirked, "Those aren't your classmates, silly Sidekick Number Two! It's Chiiro-chan's quirk!"
Tetsutetsu blinked before looking back towards the forest ahead of them again, gawking in shock as tens- no hundreds of more Kaibaras and Komoris appeared.
"What?! They're fakes?" Tetsutetsu demanded.
"Chiiro-chan's quirk is kinda trippy, and she's really good at using it, so it's natural that you didn't notice immediately." Saihara assured the first year as he waved a hand as if to shoo away the flurry of fake Kaibaras and Komoris, "She's just really good at using her quirk, so it's not your fault at all!"
"Well how can you tell the difference?" Tetsutetsu inquired, "They all look super real!"
"Because she's my classmate, of course!" Saihara exclaimed, "I've known her for two years now, I can see right through Chiiro-chan's tricks!"
Tetsutetsu watched in amazement as Saihara's gaze snapped to the right where one Komori was sneaking past. The real Komori. The girl immediately realized she'd been spotted and let out a frightened shriek.
"Gotcha!" Saihara exclaimed, turning to attack the girl only for Kaibara to drop in his path. The boy's hand began to rotate at a rapid speed right as the third year struck, kicking up dust.
Despite the activation of his quirk, Kaibara was sent skidding back and damn near hit a tree as the spinning of his hand came to a stop. He gave his hand a look of shock, 'Seriously?'
From the watch tower, your attention had been drawn to the screens where the confrontation between the third year and Kaibara was being shown. You were starting understand why the dude made you nervous.
Saihara stood a distance away from the first year, shaking out his arm with a surprised look, "Ho... I felt that one. Sidekick Number Two, you go on ahead."
"Huh? But what about Komori?" Tetsutestu questioned and Saihara waved a hand in response.
"Sidekick Number One and Four already know that she's headed their way, that shriek was enough of a heads up." the third year replied simply as he cracked his knuckles, "You've got the flag."
Tetsutetsu hesitated, "But shouldn't I-?"
"NO QUESTIONS! YOU SAY YES BOSS AND GET TO STEPPIN' SIDEKICK NUMBER TWO! GOT IT?!"
"Y-YES BOSS!"
Tetsutetsu took off while Saihara faced off against Kaibara, a menacing grin upon the third year's face.
"Your quirk packs quite a bit of a punch!" Saihara exclaimed, "What's your name, gyro boy, eh?"
"Kaibara Sen." the brown haired boy replied simply, 'This guy... when he hit me, it stunned me enough to force my quirk to deactivate. Does he have some kind of strength based quirk?'
