I spent the rest of the day with Lizzy. She was my best friend when we were children. She made me a promise. The vow was to visit me.
"You haven't been on a date??" Lizzy asked me, shocked.
"No.."
"WHY?!"
"I hate him! He's a bitch! "
"How do you know? You don't know him that well."
" I don't want to know him." I said.
"You're still so stubborn." She said.
"Can you at least stay for dinner?"
"No. Y'all enjoy your awkward meal!" Lizzy yelled at me.
"No! UGH! Elizabeth!"
My friend stopped.
"Yes, my dear?" She said, smirking.
"UGH! Fine! But you're coming with!"
"I know, I'll have to save your ass when you mess up. You've always have been the worst at dates." She
laughed. Then smiled an evil smile.
"Remember Henry?"
"Dammit Lizzy!"
"Henry Jenkins. The boy who was in love with Princess Liliana... For about a week."
"He asked me out and I said yes. So?" I said.
"The date was at a nearby ice cream shoppe, Poor, Poor, Poor, Mr. Henry he got more than he bargained for."
"STOP TELLING IT LIKE ITS A POEM!"
"You broke his limbs, Lili. Do you really want to ruin this date too?"
