Epilogue

Isang buwan na ang nakalipas...

Akala nila hindi sila ang para sa isa't-isa, mabuti na lamang at 'akala' lang 'yon. Dahil sa dami ng pinagdaanan nila hanggang sa huli silang dalawa pa rin ang nakatakda para sa isa't-isa.

Siya si Akeesha Mendez na nagmahal ng isang Nathan Gonzales.

He asked for another fourteen days to spend with her, she said yes. And on those fourteen days they realized how much they love each other.

Those another fourteen days were enough for them to have a happy ending because today is a very special day for the both of them.

And now, they are exchanging their vows for each other.

Bakas sa mukha ni Nathan ang labis na kasiyahan habang pinagmamasdan si Akeesha. Ganoon din si Akeesha, sobrang saya niya rin ngayon. Ang mga mata nilang dalawa ang makakapagsabi na sila talaga ang para sa isa't-isa at may 'happy ending' na rin sila. "Akeesha..." Panimula ni Nathan. "Thank you for being here today on our very special day. Lahat ng effort na ginawa ko para sayo hindi ako humihiling na suklian mo 'yon kasi yung makasama ka sa araw na 'to sobra-sobra pa 'to. Hindi mo alam kung gaano ako kasaya, yung tipong para akong teenager na kinikilig nang makita kang naglalakad sa aisle papalapit sa akin, yung tipong parang unang beses pa lang tayong nagkakilala at nasabi ko na agad sa sarili ko na 'ikaw yung babaeng gusto kong mapangasawa, ikaw yung babaeng gusto kong makasama hanggang sa pagtanda ko'. Binigyan mo ng kulay yung buhay ko, yung dating black and white naging rainbow colors." Napangiti naman siya sa sinabi niya. "You know what's the best thing about me... It's you." He even winked at her. Halata namang kinikilig si Akeesha. "I love you Kee, forever and always."

Halos maiyak na si Akeesha dahil sa sobrang sayang nararamdaman niya. "Nathan..." She said while looking directly into his eyes. "Alam mo bang inis na inis ako sayo nung umpisa." Natatawa niyang sabi, kahit ang mga bisita at mga magulang nila pati na rin ang lolo ni Nathan ay nagsitawanan. "Hindi talaga ganoon kasaya ang simula natin pero sigurado akong may 'happy ending' na rin tayo. I wasn't planning to fall for you, ganoon naman 'yon diba? You fall in love unexpectedly; you'll just realize one day that you're already in love. And the best thing that ever happened to me is falling in love with someone like you. Marami na tayong pinagdaanan, we hurt each other, we forgot each other and when those memories came back I already gave up and thought we're not really meant for each other. You told me you'll wait for me but I told you that you don't have to wait. But if we're really meant for each other we'll meet again, and we did. Tayo talaga ang para sa isa't-isa Nathan." Hindi nila namalayan na pareho na palang may pumapatak na luha sa kanilang mga mata. They wiped each other's tears. "I love you more Nathan, forever and always."

Nagpalakpakan naman ang lahat ng naroroon.

"You have declared your consent before the Church and this community of your family and friends. May the Lord in his goodness strengthen your consent and fill you with his + blessings. What God has joined together, let no one separate." The priest said.

"Lord, bless these rings which we bless + in your name. Grant that those who wear them may always do you will and live together in peace and compassion. We ask this through Christ our Lord." The officiant said. The rings had been blessed.

"Amen." The priest said.

Nathan places the ring on Akeesha's ring finger and he said,"Kee, take this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit."

Akeesha places the ring on Nathan's ring finger and she said,"Nathan, take this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit."
