Marriage never made sense to Hyunjin. And that too a marriage that is supposed to last a lifetime. Trusting another person to be partner in a school project seemed wild to him when he was younger. Mostly because of the fact that being known as the illegitimate doll-faced half brother of a school bully doesn't make the best reputation for anyone. Those who were foes of his brother were mean to him. Those who friends with his brother were meaner to him. And those who were scared of his brother would never be as scared to murmur about him the corridoors. They were mean to him behind his back so to speak.

Yet no one actually really knew him. No one tried to. No one wanted to know him. Not enough to want to be his art project partner at least. And Hyunjin would have rather painted his face like that of a circus clown than have a second (twenty-second) classmate fool him into thinking they want to be his friend when in reality that actually turned out to be a stupid middle school dare.

So, it was more than understandable that Hyunjin could never understand how someone could trust someone else to become a partner of and for life.

But there he was, outside the registration office, in a flowy white shirt and white dress pants standing next to a blonde man suited in all black, waiting to get married.

Waiting to get married to the golden haired cold blooded creature named Chan whose smile held a wondering glint as the sun rays like flecks glimmered like gold in his orbs as he looked at Hyunjin.

"Ready?" He asked the younger, in a tone that reflected a certain long kept yet curtained nervousness.

"Ready." Hyunjin answered as a nervous breath escaped his lips.

*Flashback begins*

"You're getting what next Sunday?!"

"Marri-"

"MARRIED! YOU ARE FUCKING GETTING MARRIED? LIKE MARRIED MARRIED?" Hyunjin held his phone right away from his ear as the voice on the other side of the call attempted at rupturing the tissues in dancer's eardrums.

"Yes. Jeonghan hyung. It's just signing the marriage papers. So, I was hoping you could show as the witness from my side?" Hyunjin said after his phone was replaced against his ear.

"I have so many questions...I mean I didn't even know you were seeing someone...you know what tomorrow is the opening day of my coffee shop. You were supposed to visit with Yeji. Why don't you bring you fiancé along and I'll give you the answer to your question." Jeonghan responded.

"But-"

"But buts Hyunjinah. Listen to your Jeonghan hyungie won't you?"

"Yes hyung but-"

"Okay then, see you tomorrow. Bye!" The older had subtle curious tone as he hung up on an astounded Hyunjin.

The said male tucked his hair strands into a half bun, kept the phone on the side of the sink before opening the tap and splashing his face with water. Drying his skin with the sleeves of his shirt he walked out of the bathroom to see his daughter reading from her fairytale book. A picture version with simple words written in big letters of course.

As soon as the child noticed her mother, she chirped, "Eomma, Prince Charming is so cool. He saved Cinderella from her evil step mother!"

"That really is cool." Hyunjin ruffled his daughter's hair, taking a seat beside her on the couch as her eyes returned back to the picture of the Prince and Princess dancing at the Ball.
