Did The Angels Kick You Out?

Chapter 4

And so as he said he is taking me to one of his friends home in a car...
I didn't knew angels or devils or whatever live this kind of lives nowadays. I wondered he'd be willing to go see my friends if I tell them I've met a devil. Oh! I've to first kill that so-called friends. I've always known their crazy ideas will be death of me someday!

I was in the back seat and out of curiosity and also because I was getting bored, I asked him.

"What do you do here on Earth? Murder criminals?

"I'm glad you asked!" He said sounding excited. "And I've told before it wasn't murder! It was SALVATION! and yeah, that's what I do on earth and will be doing for the rest 10 years! " He said grumpily.

"And why is that?"

"You know... When I was an angel, I accidentally killed the guy whom I was supposed to guard. He was a good guy who did undercovered job of killing bad guys. And because of that God punished me and made me a devil. He also banished me from heaven and told me to do the job of killing the bad guys here since my good guy died...."

I blinked. "...and just how accidentally you killed the guy you were supposed to protect?" I asked weirded by him.

"Oh, it was his birthday so I thought to give him a cute puppy since he seemed to really love them ...so he was driving home and to surprise him a little I thought to fly to him, with puppy in my hands. Since he can't see my he would think the puppy is granted to him by God himself!
But the next thing happen was sad...

He crashed his car.

It caught fire.

He couldn't get out on time.

It blasted.

And he died..."

I just looked at him astonished.

"It was just a little immature of me" he smiled meekly.

"A little immature? You fucking killed someone on his birthday!? And what the hell with carrying a puppy and flying it to someone's car!? Are you a  lunatic?!
I'd rather be alone then have a guardian angel like you!!"

"Hey!! I'm really good! And you know what! ...forget it. God kicked me out of the guardian angel job anyway..."
He looked embarrassed.

"That's a relief!" I commented.

And then we stopped at a house that was too good to say house. I'd call it mansion!

"It's my friend Nolan's home." He said walking.

Oh, I just remembered we hadn't even introduced ourselves and he's introducing his friend!

"Wait!" I said.

"What?"

"What's your name?"

He realised we forgot to introduce ourselves.

"Oh right, first you tell yours!" He said.

What's with him..?

"I'm Aria."

"Aria... That's a nice name.. Now,
BEHOLD ARIA! HERE I AM! THE GUARDIAN ANGEL OF-

He paused in his dramatic introduction. I think he just realised he's not that anymore. He is fake coughing.

"ANGEL OF- OF.... "

Ah looks like he realised he's not even an angel no more...

"THE ONE WITH THE SEXIEST BOD-

Looks like he realised he is electric pole-thin.

"MAN WITH The MOST HANDSOME FACE-

I cut him off asking "what's your age?"

"AN OLD HAG WITH THE MOST CHARMING-  you know what...? Fck it!"

He said depressedly.

"My name's Cyan and I'm over a 100 years old. But I was just 17 when I became angel, and I didn't age ..."

"Oh.." that was all I said...

He looked really depressed...

Did the truth about life just dawned on him?

Well life is full of sufferings...

Can he be even called alive?

His black eyes looks darker than before..

He looks suicidal at this point...

I cleared my throat to catch his attention. "Y-you know, you are pretty handsome though..."  My half hearted attempt to lighten him up, but that was no lie. He was pretty... cute?

"Really?!" He said excitedly.

Did I see stars in his eyes?

"I'm sexy and I know that!" He said haughtily.

Wow that was faster then making a kid stop crying by bribing his mouth shut with chocolates...

And after our little introduction. He ringed the bell of his friends home. I was nervous. The real devils live in this house... What would they look like? Beast? Or monsterous? Or hot as in some comics? Or like Cyan, human with two horns? I'm about to find out.
