Sansa walked next to Legolas. She kept her chin lightly lifted. She was a Queen and would show it.
"I have a question?" Legolas asked. Sansa looked at him.
"I can only answer if I know the answer," she said. Legolas lightly smiled.
"I'm sure you do. The man Daenerys has brought with her?"
"Jon Snow, my brother," Sansa said. Legolas nodded.
"Was he the one that tried to kill her?" he asked. Sansa looked at him with a cold look.
"Yes, he was. I do not stand behind him for doing that. Even though he is the son of her older brother, he does not deserve the Iron Throne. Queen Daenerys does," she said. Legolas looked at her.
"I do not doubt that Queen Daenerys deserves the throne, but why does she?" he asked. Sansa stared in front of her.
"She fought the wars for him to get to the throne, just like Queen Cersei Lannister. Her family did everything for her so she could be Queen and it brought her nothing. Daenerys fought for her families property and for the people. Not only those in the Seven Kingdoms, but also those across the Narrow Sea living in the Free Cities," she said. Legolas frowned.
"The Free Cities?"
"Across the Narrow Sea, it is still normal to have slaves. Queen Daenerys never agreed with it and started taking over the cities with the most slaves. That is also where she got her Unsullied. She slayed the Masters and was soon known as Mhysa, which is Valyrian for Mother," Sansa explained.
"I see. And how is King's Landing?" Legolas asked. Sansa smiled lightly.
"It is returning to the way it looked during the Targaryen Dynasty. She rebuilt everything she could and started bringing the Dragon Pit back to it's old state. Most Dragon Masters have died, but there was one left who is now training new disciples. One day Daenerys hopes to bring the dragons back to the Seven Kingdoms," she said. Legolas looked at Sansa talking about her Queen with so much pride.
"Do the people feel safe around the dragons?" he asked. Sansa nodded.
"They know the dragons are the strongest defence. Most of them don't look up at them anymore as they fly over. For visitors like the people of the North or across the waters, it is still odd to see these powerful creatures being controlled by one woman. Targaryen's are closer to Gods than they are to men," she said. Legolas smiled.
"Is that just because of the dragons?" he asked. Sansa shook her head.
"No, the Targaryen's are different from normal men. Their blood is something every man wants in their bloodline. They are natural strong warriors, great at tactics, and the most beautiful women and most handsome men the Realm would ever see. It is a shame that half of them become mad," Sansa said. Legolas smiled.
"Honestly, I would rather have the Stark blood in my line," he whispered under his breath. Sansa looked up at him.
"I'm sorry, I missed that," she said. Legolas looked up at her.
