Por último os publico este pequeño cuento que también presenté para San Jordi. Con este cuento he quedando en segundo lugar de Narrativa en inglés. A ver si a vosotros os gusta.

I have always hated elevators. They're small, you run into people you don't know and you have awkward conversations that only last a few minutes. Apart from that, there is another reason why I don't use the elevators anymore.

The last time I was in an elevator, very strange things happened to me. The people in the elevator didn't live in the building and they were all very peculiar. One woman was dressed in a wedding dress, another was in a bikini, and another one was wearing a leather dress and had pink hair. One man was bald and had tattoos on his head and another wore a fancy red suit.

We were on the third floor when suddenly the bald man turned and looked at all of us. "So I bet you're wondering why I have gathered you here" said before hitting the emergency stop button.

No one was surprised by what he did and they kept listening to him as if everything was normal.

"I have gathered you because today we have a secret mission to complete," continued the bald man, "we have to protect her" he pointed his finger at me.

They all turned to look at me and were surprised to see me, as if they hadn't noticed me until then.

"Protect her from what?" asked the woman with the wedding dress.

"From the ninjas" answered the bald man. "They are going to attack her tonight." He came to me and took one of my hands. "Don't worry darling, we won't let anything happen to you."

"What?" I asked very confused and without understanding anything.

"How are we going to protect her?" asked the man with the red suit.

"First we are going to send her to the main station, and you two," he pointed to the woman in the bikini and the one who wore the leather suit, "you two will stay with her while the rest of us will contact Lucas."

"Lucas? The boss?" asked the woman with the bikini.

"Yes, he will protect Sophie after we get her out of here" answered the bald man.

"Sophie?" I asked.

"Yes," said the bald man looking at me, "aren't you Sophie?" asked with fear in his eyes.

"I'm Jenifer" I said even more confused.

"And where's Sophie?" the bald man asked, alarmed

"I don't know who she is!"

"What are we gonna do now?" asked the woman with the wedding dress.

"We have to find Sophie!" the bald man answered as he started the elevator.

When we got to the fourth floor, everyone got out of the elevator and disappeared down the hall. I was left alone in the elevator and went up to my apartment in silence.

That day I promised myself that I would never use an elevator again.
