Hi, back with the big short before Frozen II officially starts for Brooklyn's adventures in Arendelle! Enjoy!

....

Another holiday season arrived in Arendelle, and at the castle there were many preparations being made for Christmas in the castle ever since Elsa had closed the doors.

Brooklyn himself was feeling excited to enjoy doing Christmas with his girlfriend Elsa. He and Anna were examining the food laid out for everybody and the two spotted an interesting cake that was rings stacked on top of each other. The gargoyle thought it looked pretty tasty, reaching out to try it when suddenly a certain someone somehow jumped out of the cake.

"Surprise!" Cheered their snowman friend when he came out of the cake into Anna's arms, body coming apart as usual. Anna had giggled when catching him while Brooklyn jumped himself. "Don't scare us like that Olaf, and it is not time yet!" He said in irritation but smiled slightly. Olaf was put back together as he did his laugh. "Brooklyn's right, our surprise holiday party doesn't start until after the Yule Bell rings," the gargoyle heard his girlfriend say, setting up her own decorations.

He felt himself blush when seeing her in a pretty winter outfit. Elsa always looked stunning to him in any kind of dress. He went up to her, taking her hand and planting a kiss on her cheek when Olaf spoke. "Sorry, the suspense is tearing me apart!" Anna petted his head. "I'm excited too, Olaf. This is Arendelle's first Christmas in forever!"

That made Brooklyn feel happy, for during those times of lonliness when Elsa was locked away in her room away from everyone and especially when the king and queen passed he often missed having Christmas with his own family. It soon made him frown just a little, looking down. "The first of many to come— and what's wrong, my love?" Elsa asked in concern, stroking his cheek.

"I just... miss celebrating with my own family Elsa. I'm glad you all are my second family now, however, it, isn't the same as Christmas in Manhattan. The city is normally all lit up with bright lights that we use electricity, like lightning," He said, his sad smile on him. That made Elsa give him a hug. "We will make sure you get the best Christmas with us and soon help you find your way home again, we promise," She said gently, giving him her own kiss on his beak. "Thank you. Should we get it started? I think I hear them," He asked, his ears hearing the coming of the crowd.

Anna glanced out the window. "They're coming!" She exclaimed.

"Look at everyone, they don't realize!" Olaf gasped "Who?"

"We planned a party as a big surprise!" Anna sang again, gesturing to the door, as the trio walked over to open the doors. "This is overdue," Brook heard Elsa sang as his heart fluttered from her voice. Anna put a bowtie on Olaf. "Gotta look our best," Olaf oohed. "I've never been so nicely dressed!"

Brooklyn couldn't help himself with lifting an empty glass, wishing his clan could be here with them. "We'll be hosting and toasting the whole night through..." Elsa took his arm. "As we ring in the season, with you!" She finished singing for him. Anna danced them around a bit. "It is our first Christmas in forever since we opened up the gates!"

Elsa put a hand on the door handle. "And it's the first Christmas I remember to date, and it is already worth the wait!" The doors opened, Brooklyn saw them being greeted by a large crowd of people all cheering. The cheering felt good in his ears. "Look at all the joy!" He and and his friends sang.

"All the joy!" Sang the crowd. "And it is everywhere! I feel the Christmas spirit - in the air - Feel the spirit and the party will soon start at the strike of noon. And we will ring in the season, so soon..." Brooklyn spotted Sven hauling in the Jule Bell with Kristoff leading. Olaf gasped. "Oh, look! It is Kristoff and Sven! And the Jule Bell... why am I excited about this?" Elsa giggled. "Olaf, the Jule Bell signals the start of the holidays in Arendelle." She explained. "It's been done for a long time," Brooklyn also said, Olaf glancing up at him with his excited face.
