three weeks have passed in which you have tried to come to terms with the situation, with the thought of having lost seishiro for good and with the loneliness.

it's surprising to see how quickly you get used to something and when this is gone you feel as if something is missing, even if you had lived well before.

you keep telling yourself that things will get better and that you are on the right track, until you cry yourself to sleep every night with seishiro's  face in front of your eyes.

they always say that hope dies last and you feel that very well at this time — the hope that he will stand on your balcony again and ask to be let in is incredibly strong and doesn't seem to be going away for a long time yet.

a cautious knock interrupts the lasting silence in your room. "come in!" you murmur, before the door is opened by your best friend.

a gentle smile forms on her face, but it doesn't seem to be genuine. when you suffer, she suffers too, and vice versa. the fact that you yourself have banished suzume from your life, even for a few days, means that you're in a very bad way.

sitting down on your bed she begins to look at you. "i should snap at you for not getting in touch, but i don't think this is the right time," she wraps her petite arms around you in a tight hug.

it feels good and you're glad she came, and that's only because she's stubborn as hell. in the end, she pretty much invited herself over without you being able to say a word.
