A/N If this chapter will be published after the one where it ended with the manticore, well then I'm even more gonna be annoying bc then there'd be two chapters before I'm going back to that moment >:)

A/N: I literally made this chapter purely because 1: mentions 2: I don't feel like writing a quest

Izzy's POV:

With so many children at camp there'd always be a case of two people sharing names. You know what's even better? If you have befriended both of 'em. I know a Katie Gardner, daughter of Demeter and another Katie, daughter of Aphrodite. Best part is when we'd be together, like at the camp fire or something. 

"Katie, can you pass the marshmallows?" And then they'd both grab a marshmallow and hold it out to me. 

Although that day having the same name wasn't a good thing. But let's start at the beginning. 

So I woke up, and before I knew it like 9 campers were gone on three different quests. Theo, Silke, Fenris, Margo, Luke, Heja, Anathea, Percy, Annabeth and Grover. Wait that's 10. But anyway.

Ok so the morning went relatively normal. A few days ago I found out I had another half brother, that Percy kid who also went on a quest like the day after he got claimed, although I'm not sure whether that's a good or bad thing. 

Okay but anyways. So over the past few days I heard rumors or something going around camp that today we'd have an activity/event in which the whole camp participated. Everyone was obliged to join if able to. At breakfast we finally found out what it was. 

Chiron did his little thing with a cup and a small spoon and within seconds the whole pavilion was silent. Around 200 pairs of eyes fixed on Chiron, eager to find out what he'd talk about. 

"As most of you know, today we'll have a special event." Immediately the silence broke and campers talked everywhere. It took Chiron a few seconds to get the attention again. "I don't want you guys to start talking again, alright?" He said before continuing. "Okay so today, we'll have a football competition. You have all been divided in teams of 6. That's 32 teams. Then we'll play football in a way only 1 victorious team will be left. But now comes the fun part." Chiron was silent for a few seconds to really let the feeling sink in. 

"You will be allowed to use powers. Of course with the normal rules. Injuring is allowed, but keep it low, not critical, no maiming etcetera. No weapons as well." With the last thing Chiron said there were a few disappointed faces, and I'd get why. No weapons? That's like saying no candy to a toddler. Okay maybe not exactly that because we don't eat weapons but you know what I mean. "On the doors of each cabin there is a list with the teams. The morning will be used to gather the teams and make tactics. The afternoon will be used for the games. Of course, the whole event can't be played in just a few hours, so we have planned this for at least 7 days. 7 days to possibly socialize with people who're not from your cabin, to make new friends but most importantly have a lot of fun." With that Chiron ended his speech.

After that everyone started talking again. Not in a chaotic way, breakfast just continued. We talked about the possible teams, tactics, and pretty much everything that has to do with football.

After breakfast we walked to the cabins. I looked at the list that were nailed on the door (it better doesn't leave marks) and saw I was in a team with Katie (Demeter), Nyssa(Hephaestus), Jalen(Ares), Georgia(Poseidon) and.. Katie(Aphrodite). Oh shit. Katie and Katie sharing names is right now either gonna be very, very useful or will very, very for sure mean our downfall. I also realized there were no Athena kids in our team, so we might had a disadvantage qua tactics. We did have Jalen though, a daughter of Ares so I hoped that compensated it.
