A new quest... sigh (Part 2) (And a flashback:) )

Heja's POV: (Also I updated the stuff I change in the 'before I start' chapter so go check that one out :) )

"There's also no other way for me to do it. Or at least, that's what has been told to me." Chiron said. "Why?" I asked. "How? What makes you think that?" Chiron rubbed his nose bridge before answering. "I should've mentioned it before, my apologies. A prophecy. I forgot to mention. It goes like this:

A mission's success starts with five .

With the golden rule gone trouble must arrive.

A life must be lost for the consequences will burn

And people will be met and lost for the demigods' return."

"Well that's.. interesting." I said. "A life must be lost. No way you're telling me someone will die."

"Maybe we'll just loose them? You know, not immediately in Hades' realm."  Anathea said cautiously. I did hear the more-desperate-than-hopeful tone in it, though. Chiron just nodded, saying: "We'll just stick with that. Let's not make this quest too depressing before it even started, alright?"

I nodded. "You're right." "I've talked about it with the Apollo kids. There aren't a lot of double meanings, so I hope it's clear what the prophecy means and what your objective is: Receiving our lightning bolt questers." We all nodded and said stuff like: "Yes" and "We do." "If everything's clear I expect you all in max an hour at half blood hill. I'll let Argus drive you as far as possible, then you'll be on your own."

Bea's POV:

"If everything's clear I expect you all in max an hour at half blood hill." I heard Chiron say. I wondered how the questers would pull of going to the lotus casino, helping the trio with their quest and that all within the next 48 hours. Then I realized a war was at stake and concern filled me.

A bit of extra info: Who wouldn't want to eavesdrop on five campers suddenly going to the big house? A bit of mind control powers and they don't even notice you following them. I sat behind the door for the entire talk, hearing Chiron quote the prophecy and everything. There was only one thing I could think of, which was the labyrinth, a construction (as far as I knew) only I (as a mortal) was able to navigate in, due to a special string my mother, Ariadne, gave to me. She's heavily connected to the labyrinth, after all. She just restricted me from going to the middle, I never really knew why but I just followed it.

I decided maybe a bit of help from the outside would be useful, so I went to the forest and hid behind the trees while I waited for the others to arrive. An hour later I saw first Heja and Margo, then Theo and Fenris and then Anathea arrive.

Seeing Anathea was walking alone I walked to her, to say 'goodbye' to my newly made friend. A bit of more extra info:

FLASHBACK TO  THE NIGHT OF JUNE 18th/19TH

"That's crazy, girl." I said to Anathea in her head. I saw her looking up, and trying to find who did it. Finally her eyes rested on me. I gave her with an ever so mischievous smile. "Who are they?" Thea asked. "Oh that's Bea." Kayla said. "Come and go here in the infirmary, never stay long, though. Dionysus kid." Anathea nodded. "Oh ok."

An hour later or so, because I felt Anathea was still awake and both Kayla and Sara had dozed off in their chairs: "You can talk back if you want to." Anathea sat up, to see me again. She rummaged in her backpack to get her glasses and put them on. "Like this?" I nodded. "It feels like telepathy."  Anathea said. "Nah I just sneak in your thoughts, and I can see or hear yours to. So it's like a talk but more like an exchange of thoughts."
