Molly was picked up by her "friends" at around 7:30 am. She was picked up in an expensive red ford, which two boys and two girls were in. One boy with bleach-blond mop-looking-hair, fakely tanned skin, and who always wore a puka shell necklace is named Chase. The next boy had darkened brown hair and a combover, he was tall, and was quite built (but for the love of God, an idiot), is named Jake. The two dreadful and annoying (also fake tanned and bleached-blonde) girls in the backseat were sisters; named Heather and Haley. As Molly she rode with them she drowned out any conversations they were having and music they were playing, and just couldn't stop thinking about how self centered they all were. The entire time they only talked about themselves and their achievements. Never once did they congratulate each other or ask how anyone's day was. In fact, they barely said hello to her as she got into the car.The day at school was uneventful and boring like usual. But Molly was happy once her favorite time of day rolled around, which was lunch time. She hurried over to the cafeteria to get her food and eat. She didn't eat much at home at all because, well, there really wasn't anything to eat. Her dad ate without her while he was out with friend(s). Then her grandmother never ate because the pills she took limited her appetite. So, groceries were hardly ever bought.
Mollys body was filled with disappointment once she opened the cafeteria doors and the disgusting stench filled her nose. She completely forgot that today was bologna sandwich day. She groaned loudly as she dragged herself over to the lunch line where her "friends" were already standing. As she approached them and grabbed herself a tray, she noticed that one of the girls in the group had a disgusted look on her face.
"What's wrong? You hate the bologna too?" Molly asked her.
"Bologna day does suck, yes, but that's not why I feel sick. It's because the stupid kid next to me won't stop begging lunch lady Kim for an extra sandwich."
Molly looked past the girl at a green haired boy in line in front of them. She sighed at the sight of him, she always knew someone was going to be mean to him about this. His name is Chug, and he lived in Addison Apartments a few floors above her.
Chug was suddenly hit in the back with an apple that was thrown at him. "Stop holding up the line, fat ass!" Jake, who was standing right behind Molly, yelled at him. Many people in the cafeteria laughed loudly at him. Chug didn't fight back, he just picked up his lunch tray, and sadly looked down and slouched his shoulders as he walked away. Molly didn't take her eyes off of him, she instead watched Chug scurry over by his two friends who were waiting for him.
Chug met up with two boys. One who was tall, had long brunette hair, and scruff on his chin. The other had electric blue hair which was tied into pigtails, and he wore a prosthetic face mask. Their names were Larry Johnson and Sal Fisher. They both also lived in Addison apartments along with her. Molly knew mainly of Larry because he... well... he accidentally killed her grandmothers pet rabbit some years ago. This didn't make Molly hate him though, because she despised her grandmother. She felt more sorry for the rabbit rather than her grandmother. She knew of Sal because every once in a while he comes to knock at her door. The very first time he did so was over a year ago when he first moved to Nockfell, and he annoyed her grandmother ever since. Her grandmother hated him too, for no particular reason though. Sal always knocked on the door to check on her grandmother or ask questions. Even though her grandmother just slammed the door on his face, he still did this occasionally. These things made Molly admire Sal and Larry. Though she will probably never admit that to them, nor ever let them find out she also lives in the apartments along with them. They both greeted Chug with a pat on the back.
"I'm sorry about that dude." Larry said to him.
"Don't worry about them, okay?" Sal reassured.
