Y/n's POV
I just sat there in front of him in daze. He looked so handsome in his black suit with his white dress shirt opened, his collarbones on full display. I licked my bottom lip and looked away.
Few minutes passed, it was getting boring, listening to whatever Ravi was saying. Thankfully, a guy entered and walked to us. It was none other than San. Where did he go when we arrived? I thought.
He sat next to me after giving me a wink. I moved a little towards Seonghwa, giving him enough space to sit. I cleared my throat and took my glass of wine and sipped a little. There wasn't much space between me and him on the round couch which made me nervous.
"By the way, what do you think of these girls? They're quiet hotter than those clingy ones from last time. I actually prefer Y/n, she's hot as fuck" Ravi exclaimed excitedly and I almost shocked on the drink. That was disgusting. How could he say- oh wait, he was acting. I calmed down and smiled shyly.
Seonghwa's hand on the glass tightened, almost crashing it between his attractive hands. And it didn't go unnoticed by me. I tried to act along but Seonghwa said something that made my eyes go wide.
"What do you think, Park Seonghwa?" Ravi asked, smirking.
"You seem like a pervert to me. But, I have no beef against you, Because you look and talk like one" Seonghwa returned the smirk.
I looked at Ravi and saw how his jaw clenched in anger. If it wasn't for the changing lights, I could tell that his face was red. Well, he kinda deserved it.
"Haha, you finish your shit out of here. For now, let's enjoy ourselves for a bit." Wonwoo stood up and poured drinks for everyone. Thank God, he stopped them from getting any further.
"Cheers!" The guy known as Hoshi shouted while raising his glass. We did the same and I took a quick glace at Seonghwa to find him smirking at me and clicking his glass with mine and drank it in one shot.
1 hour later
I regretted drinking one single drop of alcohol because my head started spinning and I barely controlled my own body. I remembered excusing myself to get some fresh air, thinking that it could help me sober up.
I leaned against the balcony railing and sighed. Why did I agree to this mission? This is the hardest mission ever. I was told to kill and torture many times but this! This is something I can't even think of. Especially, when I'm not good at relationship and couples shit. I thought.
I sighed again and straightened up preparing myself to turn around and go back inside because it was kinda cold outside and chilly that night. But, as I turned around I bumped into a hard surface which made me whine and rub my forehead.
I looked up and found Seonghwa standing bravely with his hands inside his pants pockets and a soft smile on his lips. He chuckled at my dumb behavior and grabbed my shoulders to stabilize me.
"Are you okay?" He asked and cupped my cheeks between his beautiful gentle hands. I looked at his beautiful eyes. They had stars in them. I got lost in them. My cheeks turned red like a tomato. I felt hot and flustered.
"Uhm, Y-yeah, I am O-okay" I looked away and answered. Shit why did I stutter.
"Cute" He chuckled lightly and patted my head before walking ahead and stopping before the balcony railing. He took a deep breath and exhaled.
I turned again to look at him. The man was no doubt driving me crazy. Whenever I think of him or be with him in the same room, my heart beats rapidly and a unknown tension rise up.
I touched my cheeks lightly and tried hiding my smile but failed. But then, I put a straight face and walked next to him. Remembering that I had a mission to get done.
"It's beautiful" I pointed out, referring to the shining full moon on the night sky, trying to start a conversation.
"Hm, but not beautiful as you." He commented back and looked deeply into my eyes. The contact lasted for a good ten seconds. I chuckled and shook my head in denial.
"I don't think so" I shrugged.
"Why" He asked, his eyebrows furrowed.
"Do you always say that to evey other girl?" I asked trying to change the subject.
He turned his whole body to me and gave me full attention. He focused on my face and answered honestly.
"No" He said, confidently, never breaking the eye contact.
"Really?" I challenged.
"Believe it or not" He simply said and shrugged. The look in his eyes was telling me that he was being totally honest and wasn't afraid of saying it.
I gulped and looked away. He never failed to make my knees weak. I nodded and continued admiring the moonlight.
Suddenly, he stepped closer to me and brushed few stands of my hair behind my ear. I turned and faced him. He was only few inches away from me. If I took one step we might kis-
"What are you trying to do to me?" He asked and for a moment my heart almost jumped out of my ribcage. I thought he found out or something but then calmed down a little but not completely because again. He was driving me crazy.
"I never got distracted by a woman like this before. Even when I try to focus on work, you come to my mind. I keep thinking about you sometimes" He said. His hand caressing my jaw softly.
Was he confessing or what?
I didn't say anything. I tried to stay silent and just listen to him. His sweet calm voice was like dripping honey. It could put me to sleep when I had those hard nights where I struggled to take rest.
"Do you want to go somewhere with me?" He asked again. I took a second to think if I had to trust him or not but then remembered my mission again and then I agreed. I nodded my head and smiled. He returned the smile and took my hand in his.
I need to take a step forward.
