Naruto is (not) an idiot [RECONTINUED!]

CH. 7

After showing and explaining the average strength of Genin, Chunin, and Jonin, the three went to the Hokage for a mission schedule.

Before the group was shown their schedule, Hiruzen pulled Gai aside. "You did teach him just how advanced he is for his age right?" Gai nodded.

"It was quite a shock seeing his strength, to think that his speed is already almost half of Lee's..." Hiruzen eyes widened.

"Half? I haven't begun weight training with him yet, only jutsu and seal training, alongside basic physical training." Gai scratched the back of his head.

"I think he may have been training without your knowledge, at least in strength and speed..." Hiruzen walked over to Naruto and hit his head, leaving a sizable knot.

"HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU NOT TO TRAIN WITHOUT MY GUIDANCE!!! If you hurt yourself under my tutelage, then I would never be able to live it down!" Naruto was rubbing where his head had been hit.

"I wanted to test my gravity seals, and thought they might be good for training! I only started with a few pounds, but due to my... um... special circumstances, my body grew accustomed to the weight very quickly." Naruto began to chuckle a little. "Since I saw it was safe, for that week and a half, I doubled the weight at the end of each day, and only took them off to sleep." Hiruzen let ot a sigh.

"I'll let it go since you at least kept your safety as a priority, but if you do something like that again..." Hiruzen looked at Naruto darkly, his eyes darkening, and his pupils lighting up like beams. "Then I'll make you walk around the village 1000 times on your hands, with 1 1/2 ton weights, WITH NO BREAKS!!" Naruto's stomach dropped at the thought of such crazy training.

"Gai-Sensei, doesn't that sound a lot like the training we did after losing in a spar to Kakashi and his student?" Gai chuckled and Naruto's eyes widened.

"You fought against Sasuke and Hatake-Sama?!" Gai shook his head slightly.

"I did fight against my rival, but Sasuke was just watching with team Kurenai. His student was a new member of team Kakashi, with Sakura and another new student. His new students are named Kriss Gonochi, an aspiring earth-style user, and Tomogochi Suzanagaru, an experienced lightning user." Naruto was nodding his head.

"Wait... I didn't see them at the academy, are they transfers?" Hiruzen took this as his cue to step in.

"Correct. Kriss-Kun is from the land of waves. His family immigrated here after an unspoken incident... speaking of which..." Team Gai straitened, waiting for orders.

"Due to your completion of D and C-ranks under my tutelage, you're going to be judged on the same level as your squad mates." Naruto nodded in acknowledgment. "Your mission for the next weak will be supporting team Kakashi in a potential B-Rank Mission." The ninja nodded as they were shown a picture of a rather elderly man. "You will assist in protecting this man."

"Yes!" Naruto looked over to Hiruzen. "Before we move out, may I know about Tomogochi-San?" Hiruzen pats Naruto's head. "You should ask her yourself, she's very proud of her circumstance."

Naruto's face twists. "Please tell me it's not a female Sasuke..." Both Hiruzen and Gai's squad could help but chuckle at the reaction. "No, more like how you treat my tutelage."

Naruto beams at the fact that there is someone like him and his Ji-chan. "I'm excited to meet them both! When do we move out?" Everyone looks at Hiruzen expectingly.

"You move out immediately." All of them immediately shunshined out of the room... all but Naruto.

"Hatake-sama-" Hiruzen stops him. "Call him Kakashi, he dislikes honorifics less he feels they are deserved." Naruto looks at Hiruzen and nods. "Kakashi-san isn't going to be there for half an hour is he?" Hiruzen chuckles, using every bone in his body not to double over laughing.

"Don't *Wheese* Don't worry about that, they're already at the gates. Naruto nods and shunshins away.

Naruto quickly arrives at the gate, once there he sees both his squad, as well as both Kakashi and Sakura. There are two that he doesn't recognize.

"So you both must be Kriss-kun and Tomogochi-san." The six others present turn to look at Naruto.

Two people from Kakashi's squad step forward.

"I would be... Kriss-kun."

Kriss spat out the suffix with particular venom. Naruto began proper observation of Kriss, the way Hiruzen had taught him.

A male with dark, auburn hair, hazel eyes... 

Wait-! Eye?! Singular?! 

There is a very deep scar over his right eye. Unlike Kakashi, he doesn't cover his eye. His build is bulky, but not overly muscular. He has the air of a warrior, with a war sledgehammer on his back. Its slightly rusty coloring around the head shows its use. He is slightly taller than Naruto at around 5ft 2in.

"I guess you dislike kun. What would you prefer?" Naruto walks slightly closer, and Kriss gives a smile. "If you're going to give me any kind of title, it better be nii." Naruto gave a soft smile to the boy. "OK then... Kriss-Niichan~"

Everyone flinched slightly, especially Kriss, who was completely red from head to toe.

"OI! I was joking you know!" Naruto gave him an evil smile.

"You've gotten yourself into this... now you're stuck... hehehehe" Naruto gave a slightly manic grin. 

This is gonna be fun... besides... Naruto was ripped into reality with his last thought. He's kind of cute like that...

Naruto blushed slightly, but quickly shook it off.

"Putting that aside, I would be Tomogochi-san. I'm a transfer here to learn from Konoha as part of a repaired alliance with Kumogakure." Naruto's eyes widened. His grandfather always told him stories of the cloud.

"Have you met Bee-San?" Naruto knows of the status of jinjiriki in the cloud, he always wanted to meet the two heroes of the cloud.

"I have! I'm his niece!" Naruto beamed at this.

"Do you think I could ever meet him? I have a whole lot of questions that only he and his friend could answer!" Tomogochi raised a brow.

"Freind?" Naruto's face paled after realizing he almost told everyone he was a jinjiriki.

"Can I tell you on the way?" Tomogochi gave a nod, just in time for Tazuna to complain.

"Can we get a move on? We have work to do!" Naruto looked over exasperated, as Kriss deadpanned.

"I know we do. Maybe we could be there by now if you hadn't tried to buy sake on our way out of town using Kakashi Hitaiate we'd be gone." This made most of the ninja chuckle, as Tazuna just took a swig from his drink, grumbling something about cheeky brats.

"Well let's get going then."

"INDEED MY ETERNAL RIVAL!"
