Naruto is (not) an idiot [RECONTINUED!]

Ch. 22

Naruto continued making his way to Iwa. Using a bit of Kurama's chakra to move at ungodly speeds. He could feel someone on his tail, but picked up speed, and promptly lost them. He didn't know who they were, but they weren't any slouch.

He continued until he arrived in Stone Country. He looked around to see a few Shinobi moving back and forth from Iwa. 'It's worse than I thought, if they're this uncoordinated...' He followed the chakra and was saddened to see he was correct.

There were thousands of refugees sitting in an refugee camp, he saw Genin trying to distribute food as quickly as possible, and a few Jonin returning to the camp bloody.

Naruto flashed to one of the Jonin. The Jonin dropped into a stance but relaxed on seeing Naruto's face. "Naruto-sama! Thank Kami they sent someone that knows what the hell they're doing." Naruto chuckled at the notion.

"What the situation?" The Jonin stood a bit straighter, and began to utter his report.

"There are 4,381 refugees, 2,348 are injured. Many are either starving or close to it. We've set up a water filtration system just in case. The defensive perimeter is quickly shrinking. Forces from Iwa are closing in and Ame has been killing off reinforcements. They've sent their strongest shinobi outside of the leader."

"Was she the one that killed Jiraiya?" The Jonin nodded. "Her and the new Tsuchikage. They were seen together shortly after the battle, and that was the only explanation we could find." Naruto gave a grim nod.

"Don't worry, I have ways to find the truth. As for the attacking forces..." Naruto put his hands into a cross shape and made around 1000 copies of himself. "These thing can take a few hits, use them wherever necessary." The Jonin gave a slow nod.

Naruto raised his left hand as he felt a chakra enter the area. A rather winded Uzu ANBU appeared from seemingly nowhere.

"I want you to go home and inform the Hokage of the situation here, and to stop sending reinforcements below the level of SS. Any missions to the area should be seen as SSS, as we are actively at war. Inform her that a summit may be necessary." The ANBU nodded and disappeared.

"Here, this scroll should have enough produce in it to feed an army of 20000. Divide and ration, it will last a few days. That's all I will need to end this once and for all." The Jonin nodded a bright smile and gave a deep bow.

"Be safe, Naruto-sama!" Naruto smiled and gave a quick wave before disappearing again.

Ok Brat, the Ame princess is a threat, but doesn't seem to be closing in on the area. Iwa is the larger problem here. They've been fighting a Fascist movement since I was in Mito. If it's succeeded, than we'll need to send a message that they are not as powerful and 'gifted' as they believe.

I know that, Kurama. The only question for me is whether or not in use your chakra or senjutsu to destroy them all.

Senjutsu would be best. Less craters to get in the way of re-building.

Senjutsu it is! I've been wanting to use that jutsu!

The giant tree or biblical flood.

Naruto powered up again after checking for any power houses the Jonin couldn't deal with. He again began to sprint, this time yo the heart of Earth Country.

After about an hour of travel, he found himself on a cliffside over looking Iwa. He turned himself into a brown haired child using a henge and began to wonder around. He found himself outside the gates. He found that several bodies, including those of his Godfather had been displayed on the walls of Iwa.
