After finishing our drinks and getting another one (alcohol for me this time), we decided to move the conversation into one of the sitting rooms. We had been sitting there talking about little things until Derek asked me the one question that I was beginning to dread.

"So what are you going to do since you graduated? " Derek asked as he turned to look at me.

" I think I'm going to take a break for a while. My parents definitely don't approve but I really think it may be the best thing for me. "

My decision to not go to college right away really made my parents anything but happy with me. I just didn't really feel like rushing into my life. The plan was to get a nice local job and save up enough money so that when I do attend college, I won't have to pay back alot of student loans.

"You're not scared that you eventually won't go? " he looked like he was really concerned.

" That's what my parents are for. Hopefully they will always remind me to get my education."
As soon as I finished saying that we heard a commotion in the living room. It sounded like someone was getting into a fight. We both jumped up from the sofa and rushed out into the hallway to see what was going on. When we got into the hallway all you could see was people running and trying to get out the door. As I got closer I saw two guys fighting on the floor. One of them loooled to be about 25 and the other guy was someone that went to my school. Before I could turn to Derek to tell him to come on, I saw him jumping into it! He was trying to get the guy that looked about 25 off of the other guy (I think his name was Kyle). It took about the other guys to get the twenty five year old off Kyle. Instead of running like the others, I was going to make sure that kyle was okay. The guy looked like he really did some damage.

"Are you okay?! "I said running to Kyle who laid on the floor with blood all over his face. Whatever happened between kyle and this guy and don't want to know.
" He needs some ice!" I called out to whoever would listen. When I turned around I came face to face with the twenty five year old. His face was beautiful but hard at the the same time. You could tell this guy didn't take any crap from anyone. He was so beautiful I had to fight the urge to reach out and touch him just to see if he was real. His blue eyes captivated me like the ocean.
Before I could say anything he lifted his head and said,

Aww I'm so sorry!! You all thought it was going to be Derek! Nope.. I decided to do a plot twist when I was writing this chapter.
