"Okay, well since you don't want to talk about what happened; I have just the thing that may cheer you up,"  Zain replied with a smirk. Something told me that whatever he had planned was going to be good. "Come with me."

He held his hand out to me to follow him. He looked like he wanted me to follow him through the woods.

"Through the woods? " I'm not the kind of girl that was terrified of going into the woods but I was afraid of going with a complete stranger. Although the thought of him being a killer crossed my mind, it was quickly shoved back into the crevasses of my brain when he took my hand. The sparks that I had felt earlier were there once again. I looked up to him to see if he noticed it too but his face seemed unchanged. Maybe I had way too much to drink.

"So where are we going? "I asked as I looked up at him. I guess it helped that he was white because I could sort of see his beautiful ivory skin in the dark of the night.

" Hold on we're almost there. You're really impatient, " He laughed.

Not a moment after he said that we came into a clearing. It reminded me of the clearing that Edward took Bella in Twilight. There was beautiful flowers everywhere. They looked like wild flowers but regardless they were pretty. The thing that made the clearing so special though, was the way that the trees formed a circular barrier around it and when you looked up you could see all of the beautiful stars. I was too busy being mesmerized by the sight; I didn't notice that Zain had let go of my hand and was now laying on the grass and was staring up at the sky. I decided that I probably looked ridiculous just standing there with my mouth open while he laid on the grass ; so I joined him on the damp grass.

"What are you looking at?" I asked as I turned my head to look at him.

"The stars. Sometimes when things get crazy in my life I come here to relax. It always looks better at night. " he says as he looks up to the sky.

I wasn't really expecting him to be like this. He seemed like he was just another jock who got every girl that he wanted.

"My friends have been keeping things from me. It feels like I'm not even in the group anymore. I guess friends don't always last forever," I say as I look up to the sky.

"Well, I could always be your friend," he replied with a wide grin. I couldn't stop the blush that was creeping up to my face. Its a good thing he couldn't see my face very clearly in the dark.

"I would like that very much Zain," he grunted when I said his name.

"So tell me about your life," he asked.

"Well my parents got married at like 19 and had my brothers. I guess something went awry because my parents left their hometown and moved here. They had me when they moved here. I've never seen my grandparents or even heard from them. Whenever I ask about them my parents always seem to change the subject. I'm not sure why I'm telling you all this." For some reason it feels like Ive known him for my whole life and its like I can tell him anything.

"So what about you?" I ask.

"I have lived here my whole life and I come from a family of five kids. I have three sisters and two brothers. Jane and Jacob are the youngest. They are twins and their 15.  Kari is the second youngest and she is 17. Then there is Sabrina who is 18. Next is Kalvin who is 19. Then there is me and I'm 21. I guess my parents really liked kids. My family owns their own business so now I'm in charge of it since I'm the oldest."
