Roman's POV:

I did what we should've done from the beginning, looked on the safe house security cameras. They all were wearing mask yes but the windows are see through.

So once they got in the took them off. Alec Callam is the one we got. Looking him up he's got Theo brothers, one older the other younger.

He dropped out of eleventh grade and apparently disappeared. No living relatives other than his brothers.

Are his brothers also the men who took Elise? My office door is wide open so I see Isaac walking up in a white T with blood on him. But he's attempting to wipe it off with a rag in his hand.

"Guys not talking", He says. He cut his hair last night. I don't like it. A blonde buzz cut is scary, it's just a thousand of spikes sticking up as it grows more.

"How many times did I say torture won't work", I sighs. He shrugs his shoulders. "I know but it's always fun to try", he smiles and walks out.

I'm tired but I can't sleep lately, it's always something keeping me awake. Like last night, I had a nightmare. This one was about Elise.

My computer chimed and that meant I gotten an email. It was from a Clarrsia Domo. She asks if I'm me.

Is this Roman Black?

My name is Clarrsia, I've found a girl on the side of the road asking for help, she helped me email you.

Elise?

I don't hesitate to ask where they are, she tells me on the side of the road by a dinner and a seven eleven.

I go to my room and grab the throw blanket from my bed and run for the front door. I go to almost every seven eleven until I got almost out of the city and into the country.

I see a woman standing near her car on the side near the woods. I get out but I'm hesitant. I think the women sees me and she opens the back door of her car.

Elise had stepped out and the sun beamed on her face. I wanted to drop to my knees. I'm been in agony these past two months and just looking at her is like I'm seeing her for the first time.

I thought she was interesting and beautiful. She's got my heart caught in swirl, her green eyes blend with the ground she walks on, she laughs at the little things.

Her heart is four time sizes too big for this world and her smile is all too perfect. Sounds corny but it's true.

I think I'm stuck.

She's dirty, wearing a nightgown with a few rips, her knees scratched up and wearing rain boots. I step forward but that's all I do.

She's running right for me and I open my arms as she crashes into me. Her cries are painful, it breaks me.

I hold her tightly I think I feel something wet on my face. It feels weird.

She's whispering things before calling my name. My knees are weak and I can't help up fall. I'm still holding her when we lost balance and I sit against my car tire.

"I love you", she cried. Her face is burried in my chest but not for long. When she looks up at me she's crying, tears everywhere.

My chest was feeling tight inside and I didn't know what to do. As I stand I scoop her in my arms and sit her in the back seat. I watched her wrap the blanket around her.
