Your not mine [Part 4]

Regina's POV:

Its today, the wedding day.

Me and Narda havent talked to each other since, she didnt even come to work either since the argument,
shes probably avoiding me.

Im currently in the dressing room of the restaurant where were holding the wedding ceremony.

Make up artists readying up my face, dress designers making sure the wedding dress I have on right now fit right and wont get ruined while walking down the isle.

"Your all set!" The make up artist said and I forced a smile. "Salamat" I said and stood up from the chair of a mirror vanity.

"The dress should feel like they fit you perfectly" The designer said and I nodded. "Its time to walk down the isle, good luck to you" They told me before leaving the dressing room.

I once again forced a smile, I dont know how many smiles I have to force today.

I carefully made my way to the isle behind the curtains. I notice my dad made his way as well and I smiled at him.

He put my hand on his arm and I held onto it.
"You look perfect" He said but I stayed silent.
"Wag kang mag alala, everything will go well today I know it" He added.

"Dad" I said.
"Hm?" He replied.

"Will you support me no matter what?" I asked.
"Of course, your my daughter. I always will" He replied.

"What if I dont want to marry Brian?" I asked and he looked at me not knowing what to say.

At the worst moment, the curtains opened and there was everyone, staring at me and my dad, across us was Brian who looked happy.

"I wont force you, aslong as your happy" He said and I widened my eyes. "R-Really?" I asked.
"I cant stand you being sad anak" He
replied. "Follow your heart" He added.

Those words, words said by Narda.
I quickly scan the crowd and see Narda, her hair up in a bun, two pieces of her hair and bangs infront of her face with some flowers in her hair, and she was wearing a beautiful laced white dress.

It wasnt an opinion but a fact coming from me, Narda is beautiful

But then standing next to her was Noah who was holding her hand.

I start walking down the isle and my dad followed me. I picked up my pace and Brian looked confused, I walked over to the pastor next to Brian and took the mic out of his hands.

"Sorry I need this" I whispered.
I turned around to face the crowd and then took a glance at my dad who was just smiling proudly at me.

I gulped and took a deep breath before saying anything because I was nervous, all eyes were on me.

"Im sorry everyone pero.." I said and looked at Narda who was shaking her head, giving me a sign to stop what I was planning.

"I dont want to marry Brian" I said and looked at Brian who was shocked. "I cant marry someone I dont love" I continued.

"Follow my heart my dad says....sundan mo yung puso mo said by the person who I truly love" I said and Narda stared at me while she let go of Noah's hand.

"Ako rin, gusto ko rin isundan yung puso ko" I said.

"I cannot force you all to support me but the person I love..."

"Narda, who I truly feel a connection with, the person who makes me feel happy, the one that I want to marry" I said and everyone started whispering as they looked at Narda.

"I know you told me to put myself first, and here I am doing it" I said and smiled proudly.

Narda started walking up to me, walking by the crowd and then walking down the isle toward me.

I was nervous because she looked somewhat angry or out of the mood. Once she walked up the steps onto the stage she looked at me.

I expected her to scold me but she smiled.
"Ikaw talaga" She mumbled and pulled me down into a kiss because I was taller.

I smiled and kissed her back.
I expected the crowd to be angry with me but they started clapping.

After we broke the kiss I looked at everyone clapping and smiling. I held onto Narda's hand and smiled.

"I really appreciate you all!" I said through the mic.
"And Im letting you know now that this wedding is off" I added and smiled proudly at Narda who was also smiling at me.

The crowd was slowly leaving and my gaze went to Brian and his family. My smile faded and I let go of Narda's hand.

"I'll be right back" I told her and walked up to Brian and his family. "Hey Brian, Im really sorry, sorry din po" I said to them.

"I understand" He said.
"I wouldnt marry someone who doesnt love me either, basta happy kalang" He added and smiled.

"Thank you Brian" I said and gave him a hug.
"I hope you find the one" I said and he nodded before leaving with his family.

I turned around to see my Dad and Narda talking.
I ran up to both of them and hugged them.

"Thank you Dad! Thank you Narda" I said.
"Why are you thanking us? You did this all by yourself anak" My dad said after I let go of both of them.

"Im just happy" I said while looking at Narda with heart eyes. "I cant believe you did that" Narda told me.

"Im glad I did" I said and held her hands.
"Does that mean, I can be your girlfriend?" I asked.
"Hmm di ko nga alam eh" She teased me.

"Narda Custodio, can I be your girlfriend?" I asked.
"Oo! Oo na, sige" She replied and I smiled as I kissed her again.

"Kaylangan paba maging girlfriend kayo? Bat di na kayo mag pakasal?" My dad teased me.

"I want to take things slowly with Narda, I dont want to rush, Im spending eternity with her after all" I said after breaking the kiss and maintaining eye contact with Narda.
