Shes my safe place [Part 5]

Janes's POV:

*CRASH*

I hear a very loud ringing in my ears and felt blood dripping on my head. My vision started to get blurry and dark, all I could hear were police sirens before fully passing out.

Hours later

I slowly start blinking and see the ceiling lights, I look around to see that I was in a hospital.
I quickly sit up "Hey careful!" The nurse came up to me and helped me sit up properly.

"Ano nang yare" I said while rubbing the back of my head because it hurt really bad. Then police officers came in my room and I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Jane De Leon ang pangalan nyo ho Mam?" The officer asked and I nodded. "Brian Robles is the name of the man that crashed into you, we watched the cameras and saw that it was intentional. Do you know this man?" They asked and I widened my eyes.

"Yes I do" I replied.
"He broke out of jail a few days ago, we checked the car but there was no body" They replied and I suddenly felt worried, very worried.

"Since you say you know this man we need to ask a few questions" They added but I wasnt focused on them.

"Si Jea" I whispered.
"Ano ho?" The officer asked.
I quickly stood up and started taking off the needles and things attatched to me from the hospital machine.

"Mam tumigil ho kayo!" The nurse said and tried to stop me and so did the officers. "No you dont understand I have to get to her!" I yelled and fought back.

"Pag tinangal nyo ho yan you'll pass out again" The Doctor said and came in. "I know what'll happen Im a Doctor too!" I yelled and pushed the nurse away from me.

"JANE!" A voice yelled from afar, I stopped moving and squinted my eyes once I heard the specific voice.

The figure ran up to me and hugged my waist.
"Jea" I whispered and hugged her back.
"Jane I- What- I thought I lost you!" She yelled and hugged me tight.

"Your okay" I whispered into her ear and felt a big relief. The doctor and police backed up to give us space.

"Ano ba nang yare Jane?!" She asked and broke the hug to take a look at my injuries. "Si Brian" I said and she froze to look at me.

"Brian Robles escaped jail exactly 2 days ago and he is the one that purposely crashed into Jane De Leon so were asking if any of you know this man" The police officers interuppted me.

Jea looked at the police officers.
"Shouldnt you be out there trying to find him instead of disturbing my girlfriend?!" Jea yelled at them.

"We will Mam-" The officers replied but Jea cut them off. "Then go! Cant you see she needs rest?! She just survived a car crash!" Jea kept yelling at them so I grabbed her arm and quickly pulled her closer to me.

"Im sorry we will come back" The police said and exited my room.

"Jea kumalma ka muna" I said and made her face me.

"No?! You got hurt because of Brian!...Because of me" She said and I shaked my head. "Jea none of this was your fault" I said.

"Yes it was!" She replied.
I pulled her in for a hug again.
"Kumalma ka muna, I dont want to yell Jea" I said while hugging her.

"Im sorry" She replied.
"Walang may kasalanan sa anong nang yare ngayon" I said.

"So dont blame yourself Jea" I said and broke the hug putting both my hands on her cheeks.
"I just dont want to lose you Jane" She said.

"Your not! Noone is going to lose anyone I promise" I said and kissed her forhead. "But si Brian-"

"Leave the police up to it" I said.
The nurse and doctor left to give us privacy.

After Jea calmed down she sat in the hospital bed with me while watching on the hospital's tv.

"Girlfriend" I chuckled and she looked at me.
"You said Im your girlfriend" I added and she blushed.
"Im your girlfriend now is that how it works?" I teased her.

"Well then what am I if I rushed her to see you?" She asked and I smiled. "Okay Jea ko" I replied.

I took a glance at her and realised she was smiling so I smiled even more. I felt her hand grab mine and looked at it, she held my hand.

"Akin kalang" She mumbled.
"Luh! Ikaw rin" I replied.

I felt her head resting on my shoulder and we fell asleep in that position.

The next day I woke up to Jea still asleep so I sat up carefully to go use the bathroom. I tipy toed my way but my phone started ringing so I quickly grabbed it from the table.

It was the police so I ofcourse answered it.
"Hello? Why are you calling?" I asked.
"Ms. Jane De Leon, I think you need to see this" The officer said.
