Jane's POV:

A few hours later on my break I notice Jea came back to the store.

"Oh Jea?" I said.
"Jane! I wanted to ask" She said and walked up to me.

"If you wanted to have lunch with me?" Jea asked and I smiled. "Sure" I replied.

"Lets go then" She said and grabbed my hand.
"We only have half an hour by the way" I said.
"Then I better make the most of it" She said and walked towards some street foods.

"It smells amazing" I said.
"What do you want to eat?" She asked me.
"Kwek kwek is my favorite" I replied.

"Me too" She smiled.
"I'll get 2 kwek kwek orders po Mam" She told the seller.

"Lets take a seat at this bench" Jea said.
"Its great weather today isnt it?" I asked.
"Mhm very" She replied and I looked over to her looking at me.

"Why are you always looking at me like that?" I asked while smiling. "Because your really pretty" She replied.

"Kwek kwek nyo po mama ready na!" The seller said.
"Stay here I'll get it" She said.

I smiled as I saw her walking back to me all excited to eat.

"Wait I have a question" I said as she handed me the kwek kwek. "What is it?" She replied and took a seat next to me.

"I want to get to know you, answer this if your only comfortable okay?" I said and she nodded.
"Why did you move here alone?" I asked.

She was silent for a minute "My parents were fighting, they always fight about me. What they want me to be when I grow up, who I should marry, what I should wear" She continued.

"So I thought why not just move out far away from them, they live away from me if you drove that far it would take atleast a week" She said.

"Are they okay with you living here then?" I asked.
"Well I dont know, they havent texted me" She replied.

"But Im glad I moved, if I didnt I wouldnt have gotten to meet you" She said.
"Im glad you did too" I said.

"I guess we both have quite the parent dont we?" I asked and she laughed.

The next day

I woke up and as usual my dad wasnt home and the last time I spoke to him was when we had an argument.

I got ready for the day, it was my day off but I wanted to go out for a walk and pass by Jea's house.

I put on a hat and my shoes.
I then locked the door and started walking towards Jea's house.

But I saw boxes outside of her house and a moving truck, there were also a lot of people carrying furniture out of the apartment.

"What the hell?" I mumbled and walked up to a guy with a helmet on and writing things down onto a clipboard.

"Hey sir?" I tapped him on the shoulder.
"Wheres the person that owns this place?" I asked.
"Moving out na po sya" He said and I was confused.

I then see Jea walking out of her apartment, I quickly walk up to her and grab her arm.

"Jea anong nang yayare?" I asked and she had worry in her eyes.

"Jane I- my parents they-" She couldnt talk in a full sentence and I could see she had dried up tears.

"Calm down ka muna" I said and she took a few deep breaths. "Jane Im so sorry" She said.
"Bakit?" I asked.

"Im leaving" She replied.
"Anong ibig mong sabihin?!" I asked.

"My parents found me and they are forcing me to move back in with them because they need me for some silly company" She said while holding both my hands.

"How long will you be gone for?" I asked.
"Jane dont you get it? Im moving back for good, and theres nothing I can do about it" She said.

"Pero-"
"Im sorry Jane" She kept saying.
"You promised" I whispered.

"I know and I should have never did that" She said.
"W-What?" I asked.

"It was a mistake okay?!" She said as her tone got louder.

"I should have never moved here and met you, I should have never fell inlove with you!" She shouted and I was speechless, I was in disbelief, worst of all I was hurt.

"If I never moved here and met you and fell inlove with you, I would have never hurt you, or hurt us" She said and tears were forming in my eyes.

"But I like you Jea, I love you so please stay? Jea-"

"I cant do that Jane" She said and shook her head.
"Im sorry I ever met you" She said, "Maybe its best if we act like we never met" she added and walked away from me.

I scoffed, "Why is everyone like this?!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. "Why is it that everytime I love someone it hurts right after, isnt love supposed to make you feel amazing?" I asked myself and looked crazy.

"Jane umalis kanalang" Jea said and I turned around. "You let me love you" I said.
"I know and Im sorry!" She yelled.

"No worse than that! You made me think we could have been forever, meant to be! But you know what you also made me think?" I asked her.

"That, that is impossible" I said.
"Have a good life Jea- I mean-....Janella" I said to her and walked away.
