Your my Darna [Part 2]

The next day at work
Narda's POV:

Im currently walking in the hallway of Regina's foundation making my way to my desk at the office room where the other employees worked at.

I was nervous because of what happened yesterday with Regina and me as Darna.

"Narda's mine" The words replayed in my ear.

"How did she look so hot saying that?" I asked my self and also tried to stop myself. "Who's hot" A voive asked in a serious tone from behind me.

I gulp and turn around to see Regina with her fancy looking skirt and top, crossing her arms.
"I- uhm wala" I said and forced a smile to make her not worry.

"Im pretty shocked about what happened last night" She said and I furrowed my eyebrows. "Uhm last night?.." I said acting confused.

"How did you get Darna to meet me? I thought she was hard to reach, thats what I heard from others" She said.

"Ahh, shes a good friend of mine" I said but Regina scoffed. "How so? How do you just happen to have a hero best friend" She asked.

I almost started sweatying.
"I-" I couldnt find the words to my sentence.

Regina grabbed my hand and walked out of the hallway, taking me to her office and locking the door,

God this couldnt make me any less nervous

"Tell me Narda, what relationship exactly do you have with this Darna? Babaeing lumilipad I may add" She said and walked around back and forth near me.

"Friend ko nga-"

"I dont believe it" She said, she then walked up to me. "Do you have a thing going on with her? I thought you were single" She said and I burst out laughing.

"Anong nakakatawa?" She asked with a serious worried look on her face.

"Ano kaba, parang kapatid ko lang si Darna" I chuckled nervously.

"You say that about all your friends Narda, be honest" She said.

"Its just uhm, I helped her! Yeah, I helped her when she was in trouble, I was just walking home but I came upon her and ever since, shes seen me as a friend" I said and made it sound convincing.

I hope Regina forgives me for these lies I cant hold it in anymore

"Mhm, I guess that makes sence" She said.
"Are you lying?" She asked and I widened my eyes.
"Your nervous and I know it" She added.

"Okay, okay, fine, Im sorry for lying I just cant tell you the truth right now okay? But I swear im not dating Darna" I said.

"You better not be dating Darna" She muttered.
"Im not- Teka- Bat kanaman affected?" I asked and she looked into my eyes deeply.

Oh god

"I truly care about you Narda" She replied.
"I just want to look out for you, keep you safe" She continued and walked closer to me while still holding the eye contact.

"I-"

I was about to say something but we were interuppted by a knock on Regina's door.
Regina sighed and turned around to open the door.

I let out a silent exhale from holding my breath in because I was nervous.

"may mga interviewers sa labas" Ali said as he entered the office. "What? Why? Is there another rumor going on?" Regina asked and I just stood there and watched them.

"Pumunta daw si Darna dito kagabi?" Ali said and I widened my eyes as Regina glanced at me.

"May nakita kagabi, now they want to interview you about Darna" Ali continued.

"Its true, me and Narda were talking about it, Narda was actually the reason why Darna was here" Regina said and Ali nodded shockedly.

"So ano? Kakausapin mo ba sila?" Ali asked.

"Yea, I guess I'll talk to them" Regina said and looked at me.

Regina and Ali walked out of the office as I followed them.

I saw the crowd of people outside the foundation and was shocked.

"Shouldnt you take Narda with you outside?" Ali asked.

"Wag na, baka mapa hamak pa sya, someone could take pictures of her, leak information about her, so wag na" Regina said.

"Hindi sasamahin kita" I said and they both looked at me. "Ako ang dahilan na pumunta si Darna dito kagabi, sasabibin ko lang yung totoo" I added.

"Narda I dont want you to get hurt" Regina said.
"Promise, sandali lang?" I asked and she sighed.

"Fine but stay close to me" Regina said and opened the door for me.

We both exited and looked at the crowd.
"Regina Vanguardia oh!"

"Paano nyong alam si Darna?"

"Bakit nandito si Darna kagabi?"

The crowd asked many questions at once.
"Im here to clear things up" Regina said.

"My bestfriend Narda is the reason why Darna was here yesterday, she has contact with Darna" Regina said.

"I really cant give any more information than that" Regina concluded.

"Sinungaling! Baka may tinatago sila!" A man yelled from the crowd. I could see Regina struggling on what to say next, she was already brave enough to speak to them, I know she couldnt handle big crowds.

"Its up to you guys if you want to believe us or not, but remember Regina was the one who was with Darna yesterday" I defended Regina.

"May contact kaba ni Darna?"

"May cellphone number ba si Darna?"

"Nasan si Darna ngayon?"

They were all asking.
I looked over to my side to see Regina getting uncomfortable because people were moving closer and closer to her in the crowd.

I grabbed her arm and pulled her close to me.
"Pasok na tayo sa loob" I said and held her hand while she nodded.

I turned around to go back inside while holding Regina's hand but then there was screaming from the crowd.

I quickly turn back around to see a guy with a knife, wrapping a kid around his arm and the knife close to the kids neck.

"Sabihin nyo kung nasan si Darna!" The guy yelled.
"Papatayin ko toh!" He added.

"Yung bata!" I yelled and Regina noticed it too.
"We need to call the police" Regina said.

"They wont make it in time" I said while panicking on what to do.

I looked at Regina, I quickly ran back inside the foundation while taking Regina with me.

"Narda yung bata?! Anong ginagawa mo?" She asked and I looked around the hallway making sure no one was there.

"Wala nakong time mag explain, I need to save the little girl" I said and Regina looked confused.

"Darna!"
