Shes my safe place [Part 3]

Janella's POV:

"I thought I lost you Jea" She whispered.
I felt her body about to colapse so I quickly caught her.

"JANE!" I yelled.
Mac came running inside the room and helped me carry her. "Jane wake up!" I yelled.

"Ano nang yare?!" Chief Doc yelled and looked at the room with Brian on the ground.

Mac and I quickly put Jane down onto a bed.
Mac quickly grabbed bandages while I took Jane's doctor jacket coat off leaving her white shirt on.

"Its best if I do it Mac" I said and he nodded leaving the room. I took the tools Mac had got for me and carefully wiped her bleeding hands while sighing.

"Why did you do that Jane" I whispered while
putting a bandage around her hand.

"I promised you Jea" She replied and I looked at her.
"JANE!" I yelled in excitment and hugged her.
"Agh-" She said and I quickly got off of her.
"Im so sorry!" I yelled and looked at her.

"Okay lang" She laughed off.
"Teka hindi pako tapos!" I said and grabbed her other hand and sitting back down onto the chair.

"Jane I know your promised me but you shouldnt have gone this far!" I scolded her.
"But if I didnt you would have gotten hurt" She replied.

"But you did instead" I said and tightened the wrap bandaging. "Aray naman" She said and I quickly looked at her.

"Sorry-" I replied.
"Okay lang" She said.

"We should get ice on that bruise" I said and stood up from the chair. 

But Jane grabbed my arm and pulled me in, our lips touching each others.

I looked at her in shock, I was so confused.
"Do you like me?" I mumbled when we broke the kiss.

"Do you like me?" She asked, repeating my question.
"I like you" I replied and she smiled.
"I like you more" She said and I tried holding in my smile but failed.

"Wait! This isnt the time Jane the ice!" I said and stood up again to go get some ice from the cabinet freezer.

"Jea I swear im fine" She said and standing up from the bed. "Dont stand up so quickly!" I yelled and walked back to her.

"Okay lang ako" She said and I looked at her with no belief. I put the ice pack on her arm and wrapped the bandage around it aswell so she didnt have to carry the ice with her hand.

"Now you should stay in the hospital bed and get some rest" I said.

"No way" She replied and we looked at each other.
"Come on Im okay I promise" She said and I grinned.

"Please Jea ko?" She begged and I blushed.
She smirked "Come on I have work to do" She added.
"Hindi nga pwede" I replied.

"I know you have work to do but your hurt" I added.
"Im okay promise" She said and held her pinky out.
"Promise?" I said and grinned again.
She leaned in and kissed my forhead.

I looked at her in shock and my face was probably red as a tomato. "J-Just call me if your hurting" I said and left the room.

"Hey wait for me!" Jane said and grabbed my hand.

Jane's POV:

"We are next door to each other why dont we walk together" She smiled and I gave in smiling aswell.

"Jane! Janella! Ano okay lang kayo?!" The chief came running to us both. "Yes Doc" I replied and Jea nodded.

"Okay lang kami" Jea said.
"Buti naman" He replied. "Si Brian nasan sya?" I asked and looked at Jea.

"The police took him" He replied.
"Sige, babalik nalang kami sa trabaho" I said.
"Ay hindi, you guys are on break for the week" He said and I furrowed my eyebrows.

"May kaylangan pa investigate dito sa building about Brian, and Im sure pagod din kayo" He said. "Get home safe" He said before leaving us two to go talk to the police.

"Okay kana ba?" I asked Jea and looked at her.
"Yes, aslong as your near me" She said and smiled.

I was about to let go of her hand but she tightened the grip. "Dont leave my side" She said and I smiled.
"I need to get ready for home Jea" I said.

"What? Are you going to sleepover my place?" I teased her. "Yes I will" She replied and I widned my eyes. "Jea I live alone in a one bedroom apartment" I said.

"Even better" She replied.
