Ch- 01 | Hits Hard

Niki POV

I had just ended my shift and was closing my cafe since all my co-workers had already left half an hour ago and I have to walk all the way from the cafe to my apartment since the last bus went 30 minutes ago. I walked out of the cafe and the cold wind hit me making me shiver I put on my airpods and started running not planning to stop for a split second

"How on earth did I even forget to carry my hoodie it's freaking cold" I mumbled to myself

The street was cold and silent I was worried something bad might happen since the area where I live was not safe while I was trying to clear of the thought I bumped into a person all dressed up in black God knows it's my last day I still have things to do with my friends before i die.

"I haven't met Shinee till now, I still have to complete all my bucketlist i haven't visited Paris till now I need to be alive when they release PS6 if that ever exist" I was mumbling to myself

"Are your blind can't you see where you are going idiot and I can hear what your are mumbling " the guy said in an annoyed tone

"I'm so sorry it's just that I finished my shift just no-" he cut me off even before I could complete my sentence

"you just ruined my new hoodie because of the drink" he says glaring at me while trying to wipe off the stain

"I'm really sorry I'll pay for-" he kept cutting me off before i could say anything

"Sorry my foot don't act so innocent I know you did it intentionally and I doubt you can even pay me back" he glared at me

"I didn't do it intentionally for Christ sake" I yelled at him

"Don't raise your voice at me you bastard" he said angrily

"Did your parents ever taught you how to talk with others? I said I'm sorry I'll buy you a new one" I said feeling annoyed by his behaviour

"Don't you dare bring my parents here and no i don't need you buying me a new hoodie you look so petty" he yelled back, petty and me? I felt so offended

"me and petty?you should be the one embarrassed I'm pretty sure you live off by your parents money and look down at people like you own them" I said making him pause for a moment

"I earn by myself I'm self dependent" he says to me not having it

"well that's good for you but matter of face i didn't ask you shit" i said to him

"you want me to punch your pretty face?i might as well have some fun beating you up" he says with a smirk

"well I'm pretty sure it will be an ugly fight" i said to him ready to punch him

"Hey what's going on there?" a police man was patrolling the area i assume, we were already pulling each other by the collar to punch each other

"just best friends night out, right homie" I smiled at him with a smirk and the police was staring at him for an answer

"yeah what he said" he says to the police

"well I'll get going then don't get lost" he says walking away

"we won't don't worry" I waved at him

"so where were we homeboy?" he says glaring at me

"I have had enough with you I have classes tomorrow I don't want to go to uni with a bruise of my eye" I said exhausted wanting to sleep I took a last glance at the masked stranger and ran towards my apartment

"Hey you idiot come back here I'm not done with you are you scared of me" I heard him yell at me in anger but I just ignored it and rushed towards my apartment not caring to turn back

"Darn what luck bumping into a jackass stranger I don't want to experience that ever again but his hoodie looked damn expensive"  I mumbled to myself as I reached my apartment and headed straight towards the bathroom to take a quick shower after I kept my bag on my couch

*After 10 minutes*

"Finally I can sleep now" I looked at my phone and it was already 11:30 PM I realised that I had wasted around 20 minutes arguing with that stranger I shrugged it off as I saw that I had a message from Jisung

Asteroid : bro are you done with your shift sorry I left earlier something came up

Just a few minutes ago and it's : Niki totally fine

Asteroid : what made you so late anyways

I don't feel like talking about: Niki
it now

Asteroid : Are you taking care of yourself anyways your dark circles make you appear like a zombie and you back pain lmao you look like a grandpa

Okay that's it I don't look like a : Niki zombie nor a grandpa isn't it normal for teenagers anyway [ honestly am I turning into a grandpa]

Asteroid : Just a moment ago you were like it's normal for teenagers and now you are texting me as if you are turning into an old ass man although you are :)

Why did I even ask you that : Niki

Asteroid: Exactly you should think at least a billion times before asking me

Asteroid : Anyways how is the cafe going on?

The cafe is doing well we are : Niki
getting more customers I guess since you stopped working at the cafe people show up more often

Asteroid : I bet they miss me especially our co-workers you know everyone loves me unlike you

So tonight I was arguing with a : Niki stranger and that's how my mind blew off

Asteroid : you sound so pissed off the tea better be good

Maybe you will know about it : Niki tomorrow but for now I'm sleeping since I don't wanna miss classes and I'm not a night owl like you

Asteroid : whatever good night

Good night I'll see you tomorrow : Niki

I placed my phone on the table next to my bed tossing off to sleep as I shrugged off the thought of beating up the stranger if I ever meet him again

I am really sorry for the late update I hope it's not horrible
I promise ch 2 will be more interesting
it's 4 days since Moonbin left us I hope is happier up there it's really sad to find out that my bias left this world so early but maybe he was tried of life he was so good in faking his smile we never knew what he was going through we lost another angel
