I couldn't believe that we had gotten through the semi finals and we had our final match in a few minutes, we should have started playing earlier but there was a problem with the computer system that's what Kevin said probably from Jay.
"you 'kay out there?" Samuel says handing me another can of coke
"yeah totally" i let out an awkward laugh
"i mean you can just rant on me" Samuel says, maybe I should just keep it to myself i thought
"nah it's completely fine just tired" I lied, but come on it was a half lie I was tired too
"don't stress about the match, anyways why did you give me this shirt?" he says showing me Jay's shirt i totally forgot about it
"OH yeah about that.....can you keep it with you till the match is over? I have to return it to someone" I say lowkey embarrassed of myself
"sure I don't mind" Samuel simply smiled at me
"I'll see you in a while then" i slightly waved at him
"don't worry I'll cheer for you from the crowd hwaiting" he smiled at me
I couldn't help myself but smile over how he said 'hwaiting' it was so adorable but again no, i don't want his to think I'm some weirdo so I just walked up to Jeno
"so are you okay?" Jeno says making sure I wasn't nervous anymore
"totally I trust myself in this" I said with a proud smile
"I'm telling you....no one should get distracted no matter who it is, your lover or your rival" Jeno says specifically looking at me, I knew he was talking about Jay
"got it Captain" Chenle says saluting to Jeno
"please don't embarrass us" Jisung says pulling down his hands
"Everyone the time that you have been waiting for has finally arrived" Kevin says earning the crowds attention
"GIVE IT UP FOR ENHYPEN-G AND NEO DREAM EVERYONE" Changha screams through the mic
The teams walked up to the stage and started greeting ourselves, Changha looked like a proud boyfriend everytime he looked at Jisung
"everyone from architecture faculty should be proud that their teams got through the semi" Changha says
We took in our gaming geers all prepared for tonight's final match a night to remember not just because of the finals but because I am going to prove him wrong that its not always about the popularity but about the skills you have, Jay get ready for tonight i will cut down your pride once and for all

Samuel POV
I was standing beside Lia Haechan and the drunk duo watching them at the stage Niki looked adorable
"quick be honest with me" Lia says with a smug grind, that can't be good
"what is it?" I asked her
"do you...by any chance have a crush on
Niki?!?" Lia says with a smile
"me? crush on Niki? why would I?" I let out an awkward laugh, I hope she buys it
"do you think we are stupid like Changha?" Haechan raise his brows clearing giving me that 'we are not dumb' look
"I'm being serious i really don't have any feelings towards him he's more like a brother to me" did i sound convincing?no I never did i sound like an AI trying to be a human
"Oh here we go again another he's more like a brother to me act" Lia says rolling her eyes
"stop being so delusional" i laughed turning my attention to Niki standing on the stage but I noticed the blond haired guy stealing glances at Niki what was his name again
"oh Lia by the way who is that blond haired guy from ENHYPEN-G?" I asked pointing at him
"oh his? that's Jake the Aussie guy why'd you ask?" Lia asked confused
"nothing just curious he plays well" I am being honest when I said he plays well cause he do
"yeah but your boyfriend is a thousand times better" Lia says making my cheeks flush red in embarrassment
"wha-excuse me?" I looked at her, I swear I could kill her anyday
"oh look who is fluttered" Lia laughs
"you wish" i rolled my eyes
"come on I'm just kidding but Niki would be lucky to have someone like you in his life" Lia says being genuine
"the moon will turn green by than" I joked along but I really wished he could be mine i will make him happy every day he wouldn't be worried about anything but in the end he wasn't mine and he might be the one that got away
