Fortunately for Victoria, Cam had gone to the trouble of keeping most of the clothes she'd had during their last time together. This meant she was easily able to conceal her marks with her new-old white turtleneck jumper and a short black skirt. Some chunky black heels completed the look, and with enough red lipstick her lips looked no worse for wear.

When she caught sight of her reflection, she was pleasantly surprised. She took her hair out and gave it a rake with her hands. She looked a little more like she'd always wanted to, stylish and confident.

Having gone to little trouble, save for throwing on a simple white T-shirt Cam looked incredible as always. Victoria found it increasingly difficult to keep her eyes off him, his soft cries from the announcer still echoed in her mind, her body still glowing from his touch.

A rhythmic knock at the door stirred her from her thoughts.

"What's with the matching outfits?" Roland quizzed, bursting through the door. His arms were weighed down with two heavy boxes, filled with alcohol, cups and a speaker.

Cam gave a low chuckle peeled the T-shirt from his body, Victoria eyes watched the way his muscles rippled as he searched through the draws, pulling out a plain grey shirt and tugging it over his head.

"Make sure you're not looking at him like that once the party starts." Roland teased, Victoria looked down quickly and began to fidget with her fingers. Embarrassed to be caught staring at him like that.

Roland placed the boxes down on the desk, Cam eagerly began to rummage through them. He pulled out a packet of cigarettes which he pocketed and a bottle of wine that he handed to Victoria.

It was a nice bottle too vintage red with a golden label, certainly very expensive. She smiled, of course he would know her favorite drink.

"Thankyou."

Cam made sure his fingers brushed against hers as she took the bottle. His pulse quickened at the way her lips parted instinctively, her eyes hazy with desire fixed on his.

He leaned towards her, letting his lips brush against her ear.

"I do apologize, I don't think there's any wine glasses."

Victoria shivered, he spoke as if it was a promise of something to be shared later, rather than a throwaway comment about some silly glasses.

"The movie just finished, people will be arriving soon." Daniel barged into the room, he looked flustered and his voice was strained. He looked nice, adorning a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

Cam planted a warm, solitary kiss on Victoria's neck then withdrew from her. He gave Daniel a simple nod of acknowledgment, then returned to the cardboard boxes where he pulled out several bottles of whisky and vodka, and began pouring shots into cups he laid out on the table.

Roland heaved the speaker out of the box, and cast a calculated eye over the CDs on Cam's shelf. Eventually he pulled out a "So Fresh" CD and iconic pop classics leapt out of the speaker.

Victoria opened her wine, and drank straight from the bottle. It was delicious and burned a warm path down to her stomach. She watched as a boyish commotion broke out between Cam, Roland and Daniel as they fought over the shots.

Over the next half hour all sorts of students made their way over the threshold of the dormitory. There were a few familiar faces, Gabbe and Molly, but it seemed there were more students at Sword and Cross than Victoria thought.

Around 8pm there was a musical knock at the door, and Arriane stepped in. She was wearing a bright red dress and sported a ridiculous pink feather boa around her neck, which she now tossed for dramatic effect. Luce stood behind her, she was dressed in a simple black shirt with blue jeans. She hung awkwardly behind Arriane, her eyes wide as she drank in the smoke filled room.
