Victoria was overcome with relief as Morgan's figure slipped beyond the pillars of the throne room. Her sense of relief quickly gave way to an overwhelming sense of doom. A hollow feeling spread throughout her chest, her veins turned to ice. She became unsteady on her feet and began to teeter forward, but was easily stilled by Caesar who threw an arm around her, propping her back to her feet.

She could see Cleopatra's worried face before her, but could not feel the hands she placed to her face, nor hear the words she called to her in a desperate attempt to rouse her. Everything was far too bright and soon the world rippled before her as if reality were just a mirage.

It was impossible for Victoria to tell who the figures rushing towards her were, for a moment she stood fear-struck as she leant into Caesar's side, petrified that Morgan had returned in force to reclaim her book. As the figures loomed overhead, it became clear from the frowning redhead that the Angels had returned. Lilith was really shaking her now, with a considerable supernatural force that Cleopatra could not muster. Her voice was positively booming - To Victoria it was little more than a whisper.

"Hello, Dopey. . . Are you there? Fucks sake. . ." The look of terror upon Lilith's face was not one bore of surprise. It was as if she had been expecting to find her in peril upon her return and though her ability for thought and feeling was limited - It put Victoria on edge.

Gabbe pushed Lilith aside and placed a hand to her brow, a most soothing Angelic hand upon a fiery forehead. Victoria would have sighed, if she could. With each passing moment she was growing more incapacitated. The world was little more than a blur now and her ears were filled with static and a lone high-pitched ringing. She was unsteady on her feet, so unsteady that she could no longer hold herself up.

They were lying her down, Victoria couldn't be sure in what direction or who was helping - Her limbs were numb and had taken to aching with pins and needles long ago. Everyone above her soon became frantic, ducking to her side in an instant - Eventually they drew away with blood-soaked hands.

There was yelling - Lots of it from everyone.

Lilith to Gabbe, Gabbe back to Lilith. Cleopatra and Caesar against Roland and Arianne. Loudest by far was Steven to Francesca, a monstrous Demonic roar, so loud that it could be heard above the ringing sound.

"Do you see what you've become apart of?" Steven's voice was sheer venom and Francesca was no longer yelling.

"Shut up, all of you. Just shut up!" Lilith roared, her face becoming stone as her eyes fixed to the fleshy wound on Victoria's side, precisely where her mark should have been.

"I have an idea, a stupid one, but it's far better than what any of you are doing!" Lilith explained with a raised hand. She took a deep breath and stole a glance at Gabbe before plunging her hand into Victoria's chest, right where her missing mark was.

There was an awful moment where the ringing in Victoria's head intensified and made its way into the world. It resounded off the grand walls of the Hall causing hands to snap to ears as expressions turned grim. Eventually the ringing stopped and a small amount of color returned to Victoria's face.

For those watching on Victoria's condition seemed to be improving tenfold, while Lilith was turning greener by the moment. For Victoria, who lay helpless as Lilith's power flooded into her, the experience was other-worldly. With Lilith's freely-given power came an innate understanding, a knowledge of the universe and how it was composed - As if she could look back into Lilith's essence and see how it had been composed.

Made of something far beyond atoms and energy, it was as if Victoria could see into the very fiber of the Angelic being and know how to shape it as she desired. Alarmingly, there was a knowledge long lost, from a world long before this one - It's only surviving remnants living on in the Creator and their brother Lucifer's form.
