Date Night

Neon P.O.V

It's been two hours and I've been trying to keep myself entertained and soon enough, thankfully, there's a knock on the door. I rush to the door opening it and I'm met with Hazel.

"Hey, sorry I was late. I was picking up these for you" She takes her hand out from behind her back to reveal a bouquet of flowers. "Again, I'm so sorry. The company was slow and messed up the flowers so I had reorder them and it took forever-"

"Hazel. It's okay." I look at the bouquet and it's a mixture of blue and yellow flowers and the wrap has glittery lightning bolts on it. She hands them to me and looks nervous "I hope you like them."

I nod "their beautiful Hazel" she grins and moves out of the way "shall we?" I look her up and down and I feel my face heat up. She's wearing the same outfit she wore when we first met, white button down under her black two piece suit.

"We shall" we head to her SUV and she opens the door letting me in then shutting the door getting in on the other side. We head off and it's silence for a while when Hazel speaks up " you look lovely by the way Tala."

I look up at her and she is side eyeing me, I mumble out a 'thank you' setting the flowers down on the seat. I reach over and grab her hand and she looks over at me, "I've missed you Hazel."

She looks at me with a saddened look "I'm so sorry Tala. How about this, I'll stay for the night to make up for it?" I sit debating, on one hand it'll be nice to stay with her but on the other we feel to old for a sleepover.

I look back at her and she's giving me an expressionless look and I think it over a little more before nodding "sure, you can stay if you want to." She nods and wraps her arm around my shoulders.

After some driving we finally make it to our destination and Hazel helps me out of the car, "ladies first" she motions into the restaurant holding open the door. I laugh entering and thanking her and she follows in behind.

Luckily the wait isn't to long and we are seated fairly quickly, I flip through the menu glancing up slightly and spot Hazel staring at me from over her menu.

I quirk a brow at her and she looks back down and I set down my menu after finding what I want. "You seem very interested in something Hazel" she coughs and sets her menu down, "I'm just looking for something for dinner is all."

I give her an odd look "well the dinner options are on there, not me" she just stares at me again before her mouth turns into a smirk. "I mean, you could be my dinner. Sure you'd be divine."

I give her and odd look and after what feels like forever, and after getting our meals, I finally understand what she said. My face flushes red and I hide my face in my hands and groan.

I hear her laugh and give me a look "you understand now?" I her her laugh a little and I just give her a glare. I focus on my food and try to ignore her stare burning through my skull, but eventually I look up and she's still looking at me.

"Have you even touched your food?" She nods and takes a spoonful of her meal, I quirk a brow at her and she just breaks eye contact pushing her food around her plate occasionally looking up at me.

~~After Dinner~~

We leave and she refused to even let me see the bill, she insisted that she'd pay even though I told her I could pay for my portion. We are on the drive home and she holds my hand the entire ride back only letting go to let me out of the car.

"Sunwoo, we're home!" I don't get a response but I saw her car out front so I ignore it "do you mind if I go change?" "I don't mind at all" she kisses my forehead and heads upstairs I head to the kitchen to put our leftovers away and Sunwoo comes in from the backyard.

"Hey Tala, how'd it go?" I look her over and her shirt is more messed up then normal and there's a mark on her lower jaw that I can't quite see what it is. "It went well, Hazel is going to stay the night."

Sunwoo starts coughing and takes a minute to catch her breath "she's going to stay the night?" I nod and she looks me up and down "Tala I think she wants to sleep with you." I give her a look and she rolls her eyes.

"Did she say anything out of ordinary?" I think and nod "she did" Sunwoo gives me a look and I sigh "she had said 'you could be my dinner. You'd be divine'" Sunwoo gives me a wide eyed look.

I roll my eyes at her when my eyes land on something "what's that mark on you're lower jaw?" Her face tints pink and she wipes her jaw "nothing." She turns walking away and I make my way to the stairs and head up.

I go to open my door but knock first "Hazel, can I come in?" I hear a 'yeah' and I open my door and she's laying down on her phone. She sits up at hearing me and my heart speeds up at seeing her.

I look her up and down. My eyes focus on her torso and she's wearing a sports bra and leggings and I feel my heart in my throat. Hazel gets a worried look on her face and speaks up "sorry should I put a shirt on?" I shake my head and slowly walk over to my dresser.

I take out a tank top and shorts and grab the hem of my shirt and freeze. I look over my shoulder and Hazel is watching me from the bed, I swallow hard and turn back around and take off my shirt putting on the tank top quickly.

I grab the lip of my pants and hesitate for a minute "do you want me to turn around?" I nod and I hear her shifting and take off my pants and put my shorts on and turning around.

I walk over to the bed and sit next to Hazel kissing her cheek. I rest my head on her shoulder and Hazel grabs my hand, "I love you Tala" I look up at her and she's giving a small grin.

"Hazel can I ask you something?" I feel her nod and I sigh "that comment at dinner, are you trying to y'know. How did Sunwoo say it, sleep with me?" I feel her hand tighten and I hear a sigh leave her lips.

"Yes and no, I only will when you are ready Tala, this is all way to new to you. I'm not going to pressure you or make you feel pressured into doing something you're not ready for."

I wrap my arms around her waist tucking my face in her neck. "Thank you Hazel" I feel her lips on my forehead and I sigh. I hold onto her and shut my eyes feeling myself slowly drift off.
