Neon P.O.V
I slowly open my eyes feeling the sun beating down on me through the window. I shift feeling a weight holding onto me and I move myself groaning feeling sore, my eyes land on Hazal with her arms wrapped around my waist.
She's tightly wrapped around me and I snuggle into her embrace enjoying the warmth and affection when I feel her move behind me and slowly start to sit up. I turn and our eyes meet and she gives me a soft smile.
"Did you enjoy yourself last night?" I nod leaning my head on her before I get an idea "Hazal, could you style my hair like yours?" I look up at her and she's smiling "of course" I move myself up and sit in-front of her feeling her hands in my hair.
I feel her take my hair out of the pigtails and is combing her fingers through it "here one second." She gets up off the bed and heads to the bathroom for a minute before coming back with hair supplies and sits back down behind me.
We sit together for a while as she's brushing out my hair and styling it in her way. "There, what do you think?" I stand heading to the bathroom looking it over grinning "I love it Hazal" I look out to my bed and she's giving me a soft smile.
I stretch and head to my door and heading downstairs with Hazal in tow and I see Sunwoo stretched out on the couch. She turns to look at me hearing us enter the room and waves, I give her a wave back and I see Ling scrolling her phone.
"Hey Tala, nice hair" she says before grabbing the remote flipping channels. Ling looks up giving a wave when I hear a gasp from Sunwoo. "Hey uh guys... You might want to see this." We turn to the tv seeing a news reporter along with officers.
"Dr.Sabine Callas has been spotted "helping" radiants and will be delt with properly." I turn to Hazal and she has a look of horror on her face and something grabs my attention. Then soon to a woman. She has a tattoo running up her arm and her hair is dyed magenta on the tips with a matching set of eyes.
"So help me if you lay a finger on her-!" "A dangerous radiant has been captured today and will be brought to the R.C.C.-" there's a yell and soon a little girl is brought on screen, no older then 12 my best guess and they seem to inject her with something and the older woman breaks lose killing one of the officers before she is darted and she falls to the ground.
They lift her and throw her in the back of the escort van and the camera shuts off to an advertisement. I'm at a loss for words so I look to Hazal and she just seems frozen, I look to Sunwoo and she looks like she's going to be sick.
Finally my eyes land on Ling. She has a look mixed of anger, despair and shock. "Ling? Are you okay....?" I give her a worried look and she looks like she's saying something but no words come out until they do. "Z-Zyanya.... They, they got Zyanya. A-and Lucia..."
----Few Hours Later----
It's been 3? 4? 5 hours? We honestly don't know. Ling has been spinning an orb around with an emotionless stare looking into space, Sunwoo has been pacing deep in thought and Hazal has just been standing there.
"I got it" we look up at Sunwoo and she continues "we sneak in, Hazal you know your way around this town right?" Hazal nods and starts scrolling her phone and I give her a concerned look. "Sunwoo is this really safe? We can be killed doing this."
She gives me a hard glare "my sweet little Dove is sitting in worry and distress over a friend of hers and I'm not going to sit around for this." She huffs and Ling looks up with a small soft smile and I sigh giving in.
"Fine, but if we are doing this, we need code names." Sunwoo nods and looks around. "Spooky, you're now Fade. Ling you are Sage, shorty you are Neon and I'll go by Jett." Hazal looks over at her and gives a harsh glare "Spooky?" Sunwoo rolls her eyes "Just deal with it, get in the car we are leaving and Fade." She looks over at Hazal "hook up the GPS we're going."
----An Hour Drive Later----
We pull in close enough were we can see the building but were we don't look suspicious, I look at Hazal and she looks back at me grabbing my hand squeezing it. Sunwoo and Ling get out pulling up their hoods and masks shutting the doors.
I swallow hard and feel electricity bounce around on my skin and I feel Hazal's hand on my back "it's okay, it's going to be alright just stay close and this should go smoothly okay Neon?" I nod pulling up my hood and mask and Hazel follows and we get out closing the doors.
We make our way through the ally ways and shadows with Jett scoping out the higher grounds. She's dashing along building tops before she glides down "We got guards up there. Fade can you take care of them?" She nods and makes an orb in her hand throwing it as it lands on them and their tied in place.
They go to reach for it when two prowlers charge out engulfing them in black smoke with black in red oozing out of their eyes and mouths as they fall to the ground twitching. A shiver runs up my spine and I shudder at the sight as we walk past them as they twitch and slowly stop moving.
Jett stops us and points to some guards in a room "Sage, wall em off" Jett says this quietly and Sage grabs an orb before turning it into a wall covering the door and window locking them in. We walk deeper in the building using radiance to take care of guards when needed when we come to doors with the words 'Danger Radiants' above the doors and I grab onto Fade glancing at her.
She looks down at me and Sage and Jett look back at us before Sage speaks "once we go through these doors, the things we might see could be sickening. If something goes wrong do not let them know who you are if you need to use your radiance use it but aim to stun not kill." We all agree and Jett pushes the door open and the sight that hits me makes my stomach drop.
